The worst thing is when someone who I used to see in my notes a lot and who I looked forward to seeing is like. An asshole actually. Like oh you think trans men don’t experience misogyny. Okay I have to do this fast before the host uses Jedi mind tricks on me or whatever but anyways opinion under cut. Mostly because. I don’t think most of y’all should care about my opinions that much lol.

tme/tma are stupid as fuck. And I have to say this here because so many people assume when you say this that you think transmisogyny doesn’t exist or whatever: transmisogyny does exist, even on this fucking site the owner/ceo/whatever the fuck he is I don’t even know of this website literally stalked a trans woman off this fucking site to harass her and trans woman are disproportionately given consequences, including when they didn’t even fucking do anything, while bigots are allowed to do whatever the fuck all the time forever, if someone denies transmisogyny exists on the transmisogyny site you will kill them.

But tme/tma labels are literally just oppression Olympics. Every explanation of them I have ever heard requires the “exempt” to be able prove they’re not trans woman, which will simply lead to different oppression if they’re trans men/enby, or can legitimately be impossible for certain cis gender women considering the fact that the vast majority of transphobes literally believe the shape of your skull = gender.

I dunno every single time I’ve seen “tme” used specifically it’s always some transphobic bullshit, except for like- informative posts about tma/tme. I’ve sometimes even seen people use it as a synonym for “transphobic” or “transmisogynist” which, to be far I don’t believe most people do, but is is basically what’s always gonna happen when you decide to label who is more and less oppressed in a group of oppressed people having their rights actively stepped on by the actual oppressors. All it leads to is infighting.
