What do you think pierce and Rhal's relationship will be like? We know Pierce was once, or maybe still is, Rhal's war General

But how'd they treat each other or affects eachother?

Thats a topic I enjoy sooo let's get into it!

Okay so we know that in the final episode Zex said 'You used to be Rhal's knight before you replaced with Asch"to that Pierce's reply was "Our past doesn't define us".From my perspective him saying could mean that it was bad being Rhal's knight or that it was nice but something went wrong.We can't exacly picture it because we don't know if Pierce asked to be replaced or was ordered to.

How would they treat eachother?Well we know that Rhal lacks a bit of thinking and his behavior is a lot different from Pierce's.But in that one flashback we see of Rhal he does seem more serious due to the topic he was talking about.It seems that in what he thinks is a serious situation his brain locks in sometimes ig.

But anyways on that I'm gonna go on headcannons since none of them have mentioned eachother so that we could have an idea of how they feel about eachother.

I hc that Pierce wasn't always the silent type but that was before/during his early guard training began and of course to be the princes guard you have to have a lot of skill and be up in the ranks and we don't know when Pierce began his guard training or when he began being Rhal's guard.We also don't know how old you have to be to be a guard at Daemos.So I think that Pierce sometimes sees his past self in Rhal.

With how they're currently I will say they treat eachother how a prince and a guard should but I think that's only on Pierce's side.Because we know that he is loyal and does follow orders pretty clear like a guard should.Then we see Rhal who yells at guards which is what most prince's dont do. (aka no manners) So even if Pierce's doesn't like Rhal he can't express it because he's not allowed to.We see him expressing his dislike towards Leif in some way but of course he can't do that to a prince.

I would assume that most interactions they have after Pierce was replaced is when they had to go on battles together.(it was mentioned by Rhys that Rhal is in some of the battle plans so yeah)
