Summary:

Curiosity got the better of you and Rhys begrudgingly let you touch his horns opening new and unfamiliar feelings for him!

You were in your room scrolling on your phone to pass the time. Suddenly you heard a knock on your door. You looked over at the door before sighing. "Come in." After that Rhys opened the door. What did he want? Feeling a little curious you sat up on your bed and looked at him. "What do you need, Rhys?" You asked, he was slightly unsure before approaching you then began to speak. "I was wondering if you could tell me a few things about humans and their customs."

Human customs? "Like what?"- "I was reading a book left out in the living room. It described human relationships. Is that book true about how humans court one another?" Rhys asked, seeming curious and genuinely wanting to know. You on the other hand weren't too keen on explaining that. You cursed yourself for leaving that book out there. A fantasy romance novel is not the best example...

"I- well no, not exactly like that book...it's more of getting along with the person and less...unrealistic scenarios I guess." Tailing off your mind began to wonder as you got lost in thought your gaze landed on his blue horns. Rhys noticed and began to speak. "You seem intrigued by my horns...are they really that fascinating?" Rhys asked, unlike humans having horns seemed very normal to a daemos like him. Being called out on your staring your gaze quickly finds his with slight embarrassment.

"Uh...yeah it's not exactly a normal thing for humans to see on a daily basis...I remember you or either one of the others mentioning something about your horns being sensitive or something?" Rhys listened before nodding. "Well no, not sensitive...it's more of an intimate thing...like courting." Rhys averted his gaze seeming slightly embarrassed to mention such a thing.

"O-oh..." Even if realizing what it means still didn't falter your want to touch his horns or at least get a closer look. Your gaze went back to his blue horns with still the same curiosity as before though, not wanting to over step you didn't make a move to touch the daemos' horns. Of course, Rhys realized you were staring again and sighed. Your determination was something he admired but in such situations there was a bit much. Seeing your face still lit with curiosity he caved. No one had known anyway...right?

"Fine, you can...touch my horns if you'd like, y/n." Much to your surprise he was going to let you. Even after telling you what it meant. Well, it wasn't like you were going to question it too much. He might take it back if you do. You get up from the bed, take a few steps until you were in front of him and reach up to touch the daemos' horn.

Rhys tensed up at the contact. It was like if he were to move he'd break or something. Clearly seeing Rhys' tense state you made sure to be gentle. It was interesting to feel how the horns felt. You had so many questions but before you could speak another words Rhys pulled away clearing his throat and averting your gaze at all cost. "I...have to go. See you later, y/n." Rhys' voice was strained like he was trying to hide the tone of his voice. After Rhys left you were left with more questions then you started with...and to think this all started because of a book.

I've just had an idea on damos stuff, what if each daemos was based off of an animal, they have like 3-4 forms, no horns or tails but pointy ears, Horns ears and tails, Part animal form (Like a hybrid form) and then the animal form.

EXAMPLE:

LEIF:-

BIRD DEMON. He is able to have More feathers, wings and bird feet when in hybrid form and turn into a bird. I can see Leif being the type of guard to perch on Pierce or Rhys and just stay there.

ASCH:-

FIRE DEMON. Essencially he can turn his whole body to fire and transform into a kind of fire based or magma based creature. Asch would be un touchable in the fire demon form due to the fire.

NOI:-

CHEETAH 🐆 DEMON. Basically like leif but with cheetah or big cat properties because I can see him being less strength based and more speed based in a fight.

PIERCE:-

??????? I can see pierce being an unknown type of demon, not really showing his hybrid or 'Animal' forms and using that mystery to confuse or scare People and most of how he is so respected.

RHYS:-

SIREN DEMON. I can see Rhys having ice and / or water abilities so I can see him being able to have gills and fish like ears in hybrid form and then being a Sea monster type creature in animal form.

EMBER:-

LIKE ASCH. This oc is have made to be asch's sister so she would be like asch but have magma abilities so she would be like a magma based animal/Hybrid.

Y'know what, as someone who has glasses...

I want fics where Rhys' glasses didn't fix everything.

Why isn't he dealing with smudges? That affects your vision especially if there's light nearby.

What about his glasses slipping/chafing him? He got them from Mrs. Oates. They're fitted for Mrs. Oates. Not Rhys. Meaning he should be dealing with them not fitting correctly. Unless you want me to believe they somehow have the same face shape.

On the topic of that: He has a similar prescription. Ava says this herself! Meaning his vision probably isn't 20/20 still with those glasses!

Or what about fog? Because he steps outside while it's foggy, and I can assure you. He's better off without the glasses in that case.

Anyway, thank for showing up to my rant. Other glasses-owners, feel free to add your own ideas or just... idk, agree? Fight me? Kill me? Idk.

So, they start dating on Earth, actually. Not on Daemos. Rhys was the one who made the first move. He tried to be subtle, as to not get shot down aggressively.

Asch whooshed it because Rhys liking him was the farthest thing he would have guessed.

So Rhys had to... eventually just state it plainly. And Asch obvi accepted.

Yes, they did keep it secret for a while. Eventually Leif caught them, and told Noi and Pierce before they could stop him (and Rhys could freeze his vocal cords).

But people on Daemos do not know.
