Having worked with EA (not BioWare) and a few other studios all with their own controversies, you really have no way as an outsider to determine who to pin a games issues on.

I’ve seen Trick Weekes being labelled as having lost their skill at writing, people who worked at BioWare for 10+ years labelled corporate shills who are definitely shaping the game to be anti-player, and more.

Those things might be true, sure, but also you have no idea. There’s so many things that go on: shit management, a bad hire who kills the vibe, a bad decision years back that now makes the whole game a pain in the ass to build. You really don’t know and unfortunately with NDAs that’s by design.

There’s so much room for criticism 100% but there’s no way you can direct it at individuals given the little as outsiders we know. Be nice, yeah?
