âSounds good, Ollie.â His eyes rolled playfully as he turned a bit in his seat to look at him. âYou and I both know that you are able to resist my pout, me on the other hand, cannot resist yours so donât you even dare think about it.â His smile replaced the pout as he heard his friends words, and he leaned back in his seat again. âWell, youâll never have to worry about that because no amount of money could even make me want it or change any. I donât care about the silly old object.â He never understood the purpose of money anyways, why literally everything now adays costed money, even some friendships. It was insane. âWell pretty doesnât mean theyâll make the show that great. I hate being so rude about it, but most anyone could have done better than the girl the director had chosen. âWe would have been great leads. And duh, of course I am.â
Ollie laughed at his best friendâs retort; truth be told, probably neither could resist when their friend pretended to be upset. Since a young age they had always taken care of each other. âHmm, not true⊠and I donât know what youâre talking about,â he mused, playfully jutting out his lower lip in a pout as they parked. âI know, which is why youâre the best, man.â Neither had ever been about materiel things; hell, just hanging out talking suited them. âYouâre not being rude â sheâs terrible. If she was at least nice then I might feel a little guilty but sheâs such a primadonna. Of course we would have been; the best leads. Though then you would have had to kiss me on stage,â Ollie joked, sticking his tongue out childishly as he exited the car. âIâm thinking we need a three course meal. Apps, more food, and something sweet. Like I said,â he continued as he held open the cafe door for Teddy, âMy treat.â
His eyes narrowed over at him as he jutted out his bottom lip, and gently, he punched his shoulder. His lips though were turned up into a grin, obviously not mad at all. They never had once gotten mad at each other, and that sure in the hell wasn't going to be the thing that made it first happen. "She just needs more practice, I think. She'd probably be better if she could actually focus on remembering her lines." It really wasn't that hard if people practiced enough, at least not for him. Huffing, he stepped out of the car. "Well, probably still would have been a better show than what were gonna end up putting on." His eyes flickered over to him and he rose his brows. "What happened to cheap, Ollie?"
