Zay had actually kept his word about contacting her. It was more texting than talking on the phone, but that was fine with her; it meant more to get to know in person. He was just so damn handsome, it surprised her that he didn’t already have someone on lock-down. They’d decided an old-fashioned dinner and movie might be a good place to start, so selecting what to wear was relatively easy. Tatum went with a cute skirt and matching summery top, as the heat index out was still quite high. The light pink gloss on her pouty lips were perfect contrast to the smoky eye-shadow that made her bright hues pop. By miracle, she got ready quickly, so Tatum tried not to let her anxiety get the best of her as she awaited Xavier to pick her up. She just needed to be her calm, cool self. But dates for some reason, always made her spaz out a little. Especially when her date was the cutest she’d ever seen.
