Nine years ago, we were approached by our favorite local radio station to collaborate on a jersey design for them. After fleshing out some rough concepts, six designs were polished up enough to present during our first design review. While most of the ideas were pretty simple, this particular design was painstakingly hand drawn, each bolt just slightly different from the next, and all arranged in a flowing field that enclosed a logo. We were 96% sure they were going to choose this concept to move forward. — But we're often surprised at what resonates with others, and this design was not the chosen one. It remained tacked up on the magnet wall in the far cubicle for the rest of the summer, but was finally taken down and filed away with hundreds of other ideas that would probably never see the light of day again. — Until one day in 2015 when a certain stack of paper was destined for the recycling bin. As we did one last flip through the pile, just to make sure there weren't any gems hiding in there, lightning struck – and this idea was resurrected and tacked back up on the wall. We discussed what needed to change, and how we could update and evolve it. And after some time reworking things, it became clear that maybe it was always supposed to work out this way. — We are proud to offer up the fifth different colorway of our very popular Providence jersey. Now available with all of the updates and improvements for 2023, for men and women. — TwinSix.com — #eyeofprovidence #graphicdesign #newkitday #TwinSix (at Twin Six) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqUeSxgMUfu/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
