I think that’s all the tinkering that I’m going to do with this.

While the last one was animated in 2D, this one was rendered in 3D with spaced out layers and a moving camera. It may be subtly, but you should be able to see the parallax scrolling of the different layers used.

It’s by no means perfect as I’m no experienced animator and the edges of the layers can be seen from time to time.

I also remade the breathing/sighing animation. Instead of manually moving and rotating the parts and key-framing them all, I pretty much parented all the layers together, adjusted their anchor points to become their ‘swivel joints’ and animated the layers by means of expressions which allowed me to control the whole animation via a single null object with a slider (for a more consistent animation if nothing else).

Depending on how you look at it, perhaps a little pointless, but at least I know know that it’s something that I can do XD.

This is now, by far and without any doubt, the most technically advanced remake of an image that I’ve ever done!
