Beauty is where you find it. . . Normally I am creating along side the sun in my favorite spot in the house. Last night I was up late renovating my terrariums for todays ART MARKET, and I was caught by how beautiful this terrarium was in this different lighting. I am so used to creating in a well lit sunny studio so this desk lamp was a big change of scenery that produced the most gorgeous view. . . Let me just start off by saying this. . . Art should not have boundaries, and I personally am a serious advocate for boundaries. In life, in love, in relationship, even within yourself.. but with all the boundaries I have learned to cast this past year I have also indulged in art 1000x more than I used to because art is the one thing that grounds me. It evens out the playing field. I put lots of effort into consciously building and maintaining the boundaries in my life that I sort of run back to art to do quite honestly the opposite, to unleash all the recklessness. . We are coming up to a year since I took a very drastic step from what feels like one life to another. And you wanna know what stands out the most from this past year for me personally? Well, I stopped allowing people to put me in boxes. . I love that word; allow. Because I did that. I did, no one else. I realized that shrinking my self for the comfort of others is just not an option for me. I need to be authentic and full, even radical if that’s what it’s gunna take Now, don’t misunderstand me, this wasn’t a light switch that I flipped one day. I did the work.. hell, I’m still doing the work. . I have to wake up each morning and intentionally show up for myself and the wild creature within me, because that’s my business... not what size your box is. . So let that wild part of you breathe fire if it needs to. Sometimes it takes a lot to not give in to bullies. Sometimes you have to tell them no and only no, and sometimes you have to tell yourself no.

I’m learning that people project their own emotions onto others as if they can’t face the feelings alone.

Does that girl hate you for being friends with her husband? She cheated on him, but no one knows. Her own insecurity of being the cheater bleeds into how she conducts herself. It’s not you, it’s her. Be honest to yourself and others.

Does social media give people the courage to speak poorly to you? That’s because they are intimidated by you in person. Take that as a compliment. And hold your head high.

Are you threatened for making a decision that benefits you and not the other person. That’s because they need the control to function, and someone else having it will drive them nuts. Block them anyway. You don’t owe them a thing.

Bullies will always find a way to project their feelings onto others, forgive them. They have so much to work on.

Between 2% and 5% of all plastic produced in the world ends in the sea. There, this material is fragmented and become in small particles called microplastics, some can be microscopic or reach up to 5 millimeters in length. And according to a recent study, an average person consumes between 74,000 to 121,000 microplastic particles every year depending on age and sex. People who drink only bottled water could consume an additional 90,000 microplastics annually.  Is still unclear the health effects of ingesting microplastics, but some pieces are small enough to enter human tissues where they could potentially trigger immune reactions or release toxic substances.
