So today marks exactly 11 years since the first episode of #Tabletop with Wil Wheaton went up on YouTube. Sean Plott, Jenna Busch & the dearly missed Grant Imahara guested to play Small World. This show means so much to me. It led me to discovering more and more games, running open house games days, creating my little online alter ego; all of which in turn lead to me making so many new friends through play, adventures overseas, modding for Geek & Sundry (and a few times guesting), working with Syrinscape, connecting them with Critical Role and Zombie Orpheus (and then ZO to HyperRPG), designing and pitching my own game, making art with JP, the list goes on and on… All of these amazing things started because of this show. I know this wasn’t the first episode to be filmed, my dear departed friend Andrew Hackard was a part of that one. That we’ve lost both him & Grant Imahara in recent years still doesn’t feel right in my head. I could go on and on about all the wonderful adventures and folks I’ve met… and I will, at length, for all my life because they are all such wonderful humans and I’m lucky to call them friends. But I’ll leave it there for now. We got 4 amazing seasons of it. Wish it’d been 6 and a movie, but I’m grateful for all we got. Thank you to everyone who made it possible. Thank you to everyone on the journey since. PLAY MORE GAMES! https://www.instagram.com/p/CqaKj97yK9v/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
