Even when I try to draw angst I can't just end it on a sad note so enjoy Baul and Lilia being smittened by tiny Sebek

Au where Lilia turns his back on Maleanor and refuses the help hatch Malleus, leading to him running away. Baul seeks him out and asks that he help raise Sebek in the art of combat.

Imagine an even stricter and more serious Sebek then he already is. Lilia would raise him to be as independent as possible, serving no one but his personal interest, as Lilia believes that is the only way to never get exploited.

What happens to Malleus and Silver? um. yikes. yeah.

Well in a lighter less "babies die" way, Silver manages to use his special magic (I know he's a baby and probably cant do that, just trust) to go through the dreamscape and finds baby Malleus who is also just stuck in an endless purgatory state where he just cant get born. They chill there and idk maybe they play peak-a-boo

Lilia and Baul have old man yaoi, this isn't part of the Au this is just the truth.

Sketches of Lilia through the years 🦇

General Lilia -> Lilia the first few years raising Silver -> present day Lilia

(might be the bias talking but) Lilia’s hair played a part in telling his story! “Hair holds memories” if you will.

(disclaimer: these are my personal headcanons! I would love to hear your thoughts as well)

The sketch in the middle has been my personal headcanon ever since.

During the first few years he was raising Silver, I like to HC he had his hair in a loose ponytail. In a way, it’s symbolizing him “letting go” of his old life and slowly accepting a new one. Raising Silver and (for a few times) Malleus helped him grow “softer” and accept this new side of him while still holding on to his past life; still in the process of acceptance. Probably somewhere in Silver’s infant years until he was 2-3 years old?
