now i'm even more curious how railan fell in love and why he refused the position of vice chef, i mean if it was offered to him clearly eimir at least had a good opinion of him or smth? ,,, is it because he was trying to get eimir to really look at him? that would explain becoming a hero since it's a big change from how he was shown as a mage (though that explains the dead-tiredness in the morning, he's still likke that but now there's the perfect hero facade plastered on top ?)
and also did railan change his name at some point? i figured if he used the same name then eimir would immediately recognize it ? at least bc it'd be an oversight to not remember the name of a mage important enough to offer him the position of vice ? Now there's so much of his jealousy of noah that's explained,,, like that could have been him if he didn't reject the offer,,,

And yes, him calling eimir old man does sound like him pulling pigtails huh😭 hes still not yet in tune with his emotions but after this arc...he will :^) unfortunately, he did not come into this world sparkly...he worked hard to create the perfect facade but sometimes he really can't keep it up </3
As for the question about Railan's name, indeed Eimir would've recognized him if he went by the same name☺️ the reason for his change, as well as why he declined Eimir's offer will be explained in the upcoming chapters...but I will confirm that you would be correct in saying that his jealousy towards Noah could be explained due to his and Eimir's shared past! That rly could've been him if he locked in and became Eimir's vice but alas....
And lastly, thank you but luckily for me I used a bird brush 💀 csp has a brush for everything...but unfortunately the real hand killer was manually drawing the monster ❤️ its okay though I live to see another day !!!
