July Plotting Call; Destruction
Teyvat:
Wind Glider Exam: I just think it would be funny to see him try to learn how to work a glider. It's something I don't think he has done before, so he thought he could learn something new. (Needs Teyvat Muse.)
Sea of Quanta:
A Wrecked Ship!: I will say this, he will try to kill Yaruf. For the damages the Borisin caused on the Loufu, and how it hurt someone he considers his family. He will not show mercy to him. But who knows, maybe your muse can change his mind! :)
Ernest Cranebill: He cannot believe he is back to this god awful planet. The constant fight for survival, the sleepless nights and horrors he experienced while on Empyrea. He said he would not go back. Ever. But he cannot leave innocent people to suffer as he did, and who knows. Maybe he could get some payback on Mr. Cranebill for what he had to endure. :)
Non-Commission Board:
I am always happy to hear some non-commission ideas! Ping, or DM me if that is the case! Also, totally down for some after-lore shenanigans! :D

RevelationHEIGHTS week 3 - finale, with jiaoqiu, acheron, seele, and moze.
she nods at Jiaoqiu, briefly forgetting his blindness for but a moment. that lapse quickly fades, as Seele stammers a “ y-yes, “ through her tears.
she stands up once more, as she walks over to the exposed Fragmentum that remains. she stands above it, being sure to point it out as best as she can.
“ it’s a bit…ironic for me to say this right now, but please b-be careful if you’re going to touch the Fragmentum. “ there is still a semblance of control in her voice, her movements, as though she still wished to remain strong despite that will fading ever quickly.
“ maybe there are more clues within the visions…? “
@flower-of-oblivion | @taciturncorvidae | @spicehill
Moze gives the fragmentum rock a wary look before. He looks both at Seele and Jiaoqiu. "If you all think it will help." Before closing his eyes and reaching towards it, placing his hand on it.
Nothing.
Until he opens his eyes to see his surroundings. The once crumpled hotel, now rebuilt as if nothing ever happened. Party-goers surrounding him from all angles as they live it up. Laughing. Chatting and drinking without a care in the world. But for some reason, a sense of dread fills him that contradicts with the liveliness. He looks up to the ceiling to see a clock. A clock? No. Not just any clock.
A Doomsday Clock.
Wait, how does he know this? His confusion shakes him for a bit before his eyes wander over towards an open balcony that had many people standing on it, or in the door frame. A majority of people staring, looking up at the sky with smiles and cheering, and he sees the stars begin to align themselves.
Panic settles within him as the party roars around him. Hearing excitement (why?) in their voices as he stares like a deer caught in headlights. Knowing that he is going to die.
He's going to die. He'sgoingtodieHe'sgoingtoDIE.
He retches himself away from the rock as if he was burned. Coughing as he tries to get air back in his lungs.
"A-a doomsday clock. A Stellaron and people were... excited to die." He coughs again. Telling everyone what he saw.
[WINDOW SHOPPING]
Assimilating into Ohkema after decades of traveling across the Amphorean wasteland was painful enough. He remembers the worst parts of it. Feeling cramped and out of place on the streets where people would shrink away from his presence and even more odd in his own bed, soft pillows and the sweet scent of a perfumed bath lingering in the air.
He’d slept on the floor of his balcony for months.
This is worse, is the thought lingering behind the permanent grimace. The Empyrean shopping district is packed almost shoulder to shoulder in most places, and Mydei tenses every time someone runs into him and falls, eyeing him with strange mixtures of appreciation and fear.
The hotel won’t let him stay unless he conforms to their odd wardrobe requests. No shirt, no shoes, no service, but the Kremnoan has been wrongly judged enough in his life to wonder if there aren’t other motives behind the refusal. Especially because he witnessed several people headed to the pool area wearing less than he is, but his pride kept him from pointing it out.
He regrets it, now, the crowded streets adding to claustrophobia in a way that makes him want to find the nearest training grounds to sweat out the worst of the violent energy sweeping through him. If they even have that sort of thing here. As he rounds a corner in search of air, he knocks into another person with a punched-out breathe of agitation. This person doesn’t falter, doesn’t stagger, so Mydei rights himself and pushes the man further away. “Back off.” He snarls, sour mood having more to do with his surroundings than the unfortunate person in front of him. He realizes it, and wipes the aggression from his features as best he can. “I mean, sorry, for…hitting you. There are too many people in this noisy town. I’ll be out of your space in a second.” Despite this, he makes no effort to move, leaning on the wall opposite of the other, arms crossed as he closes his eyes to block out the people rushing by them. “You don’t look like you fit here either.”
To say he was overwhelmed was an understatement.
Having decided to leave the safety of his hotel room to run some errands that desperately needed his attention due to the short notice his superiors gave him for this impromptu 'vacation' that he didn't sign up for. He was hoping that he could avoid the shopping district for a little while longer, but unfortunately, as he looks around at the bustling crowds that closely surrounded him, feeling the constant brush of shoulders that made him feel like he is suffocating. He needed supplies.
He eyes drift down to his jade abacus to look at the list he created, trying to ground himself a little before putting it away, and begins to carefully navigate his way through the crowd. Moze tries to sidestep the majority of people, but his shoulders repeatedly get checked by the uncaring masses. Being too lost in his own thoughts, he fails to notice the approaching figure until it is too late. Moze let's out a small grunt as they collide with one another. Eyes darting up at the unexpected collision before he is shoved and growled at by the blond stranger.
Moze's body tenses at the hostility, and doesn't relax even when the stranger apologizes and moves out of his space. Intensely, he stares, watching the others movements as they lean against the wall. Gradually, that apprehension lessens and lessens until he all but slumps against the wall behind him. Back firmly planted against it while leaning his head back as his exhaustion finally catches up with him. He hums in agreement in lieu of a vocal response to the statement posed as he closes his eyes.
Hoping to enjoy this moment of respite that he was granted.
and perhaps, there is no way out.
RevelationHEIGHTS week 3 - finale, with jiaoqiu, acheron, seele, and moze.
a duck plush, a locket, a sign of rebellion, a gate blockaded. days pass, time changes, environments shift... and when they find themselves again wandering the streets of soaring heights, they still have no clear answers for how to get home. at this point, it seems entirely possible they wouldn't; perhaps that would be a fate he could accept if he stood alone here, with the menacing machine that had chased them through the blocks of the last few days.
a sigh; they don't have much choice anymore for how to proceed, now separated from half of their team and finding the thugs they seemed to face wave after wave of in their way. miss acheron is an emanator if ix, mr. welt had said... in all likelihood, that made her as strong as the arbiter-generals, if not stronger.
jiaoqiu sighs, and pulls his fan out with one hand as the other takes a clove of star anise from his belt. "if there's any chance for us to get out... at this point, we may have to work for it together." but maybe... if they had the chance, they could still make a break for a road out of this city after all. the star anise flies --- and a wave of fan makes it ignite.
@taciturncorvidae @dream-of-butterflies @flower-of-oblivion.
Moze hums in reply as he flicks his purple and silver dagger out of its sheath and brandishes it in front of him with lethal intent. Eyes narrowing at the three enemies that had advanced upon them rather quickly, the thugs laughing and jeering at them as if they already have won the fight.
Their cockiness will be their downfall.
The assassin takes a step forward, then disappears from sight. Silently and swiftly, he charges forward. Reappearing when his knife sinks into the intended target's flesh, that sears the skin before he is gone again. Again and again with the lethal dance, aiding his teammates in dwindling their strength until they were vulnerable enough for the other two to take them down. He materializes beside the two purple haired women, giving them both a nod.
He looks out at their surroundings, recognizing the familiarity of the city before that weird shift. His head turns and begins to internally map their way out of this Aeon forsaken place.

GH Revelation 2025 | Jiaoqiu, Seele and Moze Week 3 | Soaring Heights
the third party in a war... with the new evidence seele found, it really did seem to be true. and if that really was the case, maybe it was best to try and remove themselves as a third party in this conflict. worry sets into his brow, and then... hearing seele's tone feel like her attention has turned back to him, jiaoqiu turns her direction with a sheepish, somewhat-somber smile. "haha, well. if we're not even the party these gangs running through the streets truly want to fight, it sounds like it'd be a great time to leave empyrea and go home to the yaoqing. you'd be welcome to join us, miss seele --- could get some hotpot, have a long rest in our own homes..."
but was this still the planet they'd landed on all that time ago? had they found a chance to ask anyone? tala and her child were gone, ezio was still in a subpar state... a hum comes as he considers it further.
then, a sigh --- jiaoqiu shakes his head. what was the point? the purpose? even the voice had seemingly abandoned them all to this fate. "not only is this no longer truly our war... I don't think this is a war we can hope to win on our own, either. we're only a small group of people, and this has clearly gone on for some time, now. as much as I hate to say it... as soon as we have the opportunity to do so, we should try to leave this city, and this planet. even if it means leaving things worse than how we found them."
@taciturncorvidae @dream-of-butterflies.
"Agreed." Moze said, nodding his head at his friend's statements. This gang war, this planet's problem's, a Stelleron, all of this was not something they should have been roped into in the first place. Moze rubs a hand down his face, as if it could wipe away the weariness that he knows has been building up these past couple of days, and he knows once they can finally leave this place, nothing was going to stop him from passing out once they get home.
Home.
The word alone gives him energy to fight against the fatigue that desperately wants to take over, as well as the thought of Jiaoqiu's hotpot. He was eager to get back to the familiarity, and was pleased to hear the invitation that was extended out to Seele. He lifts an eyebrow over to the purple-haired girl, not out of judgment, but waiting for a reply to the invitation.

GH Revelation 2025 | Jiaoqiu, Seele and Moze Week 3 | Soaring Heights
Following Jiaoqiu's instruction, Seele began to investigate the surrounding area. Debris surrounding the body as they lay lifeless, cracks spidering throughout their armor in a beautiful destructive web.
The debris surounding, and the cracks throughout the armor indicate an explosion of sorts -- Seele thinks about Natasha in this moment, about her choice of weapon. Her choice in fighting with a grenade launcher gives Seele hint to the cause of death -- she's seen explosions similar to the ones that cracked this armor, that caused debris like this to form. Only, in that case, she had witnessed enemies caused by the Fragmentum to be pelted with such explosive firepower.
" Based on the scattered debris, and the cracks in the armor... " Seele crouched next to the body, next to the man who inspected it, as she began to feel the cracks herself. It wasn't a moment she found most comfortable...in fact, Seele wished she could be elsewhere in this moment. However, the investigation was important, especially if it could indicate sign of their return to Empyrea. " It seems like it was caused by a small explosion. Think...a grenade launcher, or rocket launcher. "
She stood upright again, investigating the debris, the damage that surrounds. Seele chose to be thorough, any hints to what happened here would only aid further in their investigation.The wall and debris are broken up weirdly...maybe it was done from a higher angle?
Seele looked at the buildings that surrounded. Several of them had a few stories, and she let out a ' hm... ' as if taking note. " From the way things are down here, like with the debris and stuff, I think the grenade or rocket launcher must've been shot from a higher angle. Follow me, there are some buildings that might be a good spot to shoot from. "
Acting as guide now to her partners, Seele led them to a building close by -- one that felt a reasnoable distance from the body, while still being well within range. After scaling up the building slightly, Seele saw signs of a presence: food containers, some empty some full, some only quartered through. Seele took a deep breath, these could be used as extra resources, subsequently turning to face the two men that trailed behind.
" Someone was here. I think from the amount of food eaten, it's probably okay to say they were hiding here intentionally? Like, maybe a stakeout or something? Though, there are no instant signs that an explosive weapon was shot from here... "
@spicehill | @taciturncorvidae
Moze hums while looking around the room. Indeed, there were multiple different open, and some half-eaten, food canisters that were left abandoned on the floor. His nose scrunches up at the mess. How uncouth. His hand unvoluntarily twitches from its rested position at his side, wishing he had some kind of broom or gloves to try and clean the place up, but stops the instinct by clenching his fist. This was not why they came here, and tears his eyes away to look more thoroughly around the room.
Seele had a point. Their perpetrator had found a decent position to strike. Taking the high ground would be advantageous when one is wanting to avoid a one-on-one altercation. Gravity was definitely on their side, as he observes from where they are, from here the massive amount of damage caused to the location below, and the body would make sense, but there were many unknowns still present. They were aiming to kill, that was obvious.
Eyes turn from his assessment of the opening to the room again, to see if he could ascertain anything new, and his eyes narrow at what he finds. A plastic pill bottle with no label, but written on it says 'caffeine.' Most definitely they were expired, but that stake-out idea is not too farfetched. They must have been here for a while, hoping to stay awake to catch their quarry unawares. But the burning question was, why?
He tells the others of his findings and thoughts, maybe his expertise in these sorts of things could provide useful to them. "I found expired 'caffeine' pills. We can't rule out that it might not have occurred here. The person most likely was staking out here for a while to try to take out anyone with armor, as per the note said." He looks over to the other buildings that surrounded the area, as well as to the body below. "Whoever this was is long gone now. We could try to look through the other buildings nearby for more supplies, and possibly find more clues on what happened. Whatever is decided, I'll follow."

GH Revelation 2025 | Jiaoqiu, Seele and Moze Week 3 | Soaring Heights
After a hard fought night, Seele, Moze and Jiaoqiu stood in the remains of another block, once again newly reclaimed. Even amongst unfamiliar debris and ruined city sights, the scent of freedom still remained the same.
The trio looked amongst another, a shared sense of camraderie as they began to work their way through abandoned store after abandoned store, all of them coming up short each time. Rather than struggling to fight together, they struggled to hunt together. A defunct grocery store? Nothing. A clinic, long since abandoned in its purpose? Zilch. Every place in which they tried to find loose resources held nothing of use. It was tiring, and it was grueling. Four hours of searching all for naught.
After the fourth hour, they collectively grew tired of the looting, and opted for ascertaining surroundings, breaking off into their own investiagtions. In a crate, unopened and unbothered, Seele found resources and medical supplies, her eyes lighting up at the sight. FINALLY, she thought, exasperated, SOMETHING. She grabbed the supplies with a hurried hand, bringing them over to Moze and Jiaoqiu, who stuck together like glue.
" Guys, I found some supplies and medical tools too to patch up any wounds from yesterday. What about y'all? What did you find? "
@spicehill | @taciturncorvidae
The night had not been kind of them. Hours upon hours of searching through abandoned stores, and every nook and cranny they could find, turned to be in vain. Moze let out a relieved sigh when he heard Seele say she found something that would make this entire trip worthwhile.
He stands, letting out a small grunt as he does so because of having been crouched for too long. Once upright, he looks at the supplies in her hands and nods his approval. "Good. Glad to know this trip wasn't totally fruitless." He says, while glaring down at the areas he had searched thoroughly for what left like hours. Letting out a sigh, before turning back to address Seele with the shake of his head.
"Nothing on my end. Jiaoqiu?" He moves closer to the Foxian. "Did you find anything?"
@spicehill ! @dream-of-butterflies !
[HANG TEN] - at dusk, the light has started to fade over the resort; a day of exploring the shops, sights, and sounds of empyrea on his own is coming to an end somewhere with a cool, salty breeze that carries the slightest hint of some pungent native variety of kelp concealed beneath the waves. a step over a low barrier wall proves to have shifting ground; jiaoqiu sits back on the short concrete wall and starts to remove his shoes, then rolls the ankles of each pant leg up a little higher.
once shoes are set down next to him, jiaoqiu looks over his shoulder --- nothing but blurry fog, as expected, but he's still certain someone is there. "and just how long have you been tailing me, moze...?" maybe it's more a bluff as he calls out behind him. but he's almost certain the other is there... started suspecting it when a jar of aged chili oil vanished from his basket in a shop a few hours ago.
it was also entirely possible whatever feeling he gave off was from someone walking nearby who was not moze. if that was the case, maybe he'd just look like a crazy person talking to himself, but... "...are you dressed to go for a swim? I was thinking of at least heading over and dipping my feet in, just to get an idea of how warm or cold the water is this time of day. if it seems nice enough, I think I'll come back here tomorrow, too."
Moze stood a little ways away from the Foxian man. Looking out at the expansive ocean that spanned out in front of them. Watching as the sun's final ray's of light slowly being to disappear over the horizon. He stood there, captivated by the sight, until Jiaoqiu turns to look over his shoulder to address him. Not surprised in the slightest at having been caught.
Perhaps he wasn’t being the most subtle, having blatantly swiped the chili oil out of his friend's basket when he went shopping a few hours prior. Feeling absolutely no remorse in his actions, as it was the only way to ensure the safety of his poor stomach. He lets out an amused huff, realizing his own childish antics, then takes a step out onto the beach to make his way over, and has a seat. Copying the other by taking off his shoes, and rolling his pants legs up.
"A swim does sound nice." He says, watching the waves of the ocean for a moment, before standing and extending his hand out for the other to take. "Lets hope the water is a suitable temperature then, yes?"
disorientation.
RevelationHEIGHTS - week 2 interim with moze & welt.
Ezio squints at the map Welt brings out. He knew that handwriting—it was ostensibly his. Yet the lay of the land was unfamiliar. Buildings are not where they're supposed to be, the streets are mislabeled and twist in all sorts of wrong directions. Was this Soaring Heights?
He inhales. He'd have to find out for himself, when he's in better shape. For now, he answers Welt's question.
"The thumb drive, from Seb? Should still be in my coat pocket somewhere. Assuming I didn't drop it."
He flicks his brow down towards his coat, which is covered in blood. Maybe you should wipe it down before using it...
"Golden light... ugh, sorry. My head's killing me." Ezio squeezes his eyes shut, "I... I don't remember. Kinda feels like my brain was cut off when that blink happened. Sorry, old man. Did you all see anything weird, though?"
Moze walks back over to the group with a fresh pair of clothes in his hands, and extends it out to Ezio. “Here. Thought you might a change due to the blood covering your clothes."
Then he thinks back to earlier in the night. Nothing left off while they were gathering supplies, or fighting back against the many thugs they had run into. The only weird thing was the quick bout of disorientation when they were trying to make it back to the Terminal because of how the inner part of the city seemed to have suddenly changed, and Ezio laying in a puddle of his own blood. Alone.
Shaking his head, Moze replies, "No. The only thing weird thing is the cities layout seemed to have changed suddenly, and finding you, alone, injured.... Could this be Frankie's work? What advantages could be gained from just changing the whole city like this?"
disorientation.
RevelationHEIGHTS - week 2 interim with moze & welt.
as mr. welt explains further, he listens —- at the mention of an emanator of ix, a vague turn tries to spot the taller silhouette of the woman who’d spent much of the week with the man speaking to him now. if the logic of welt’s theory followed… perhaps this frankie would have ample motive to cause ezio harm. but… hopefully, the victim in question would have the wherewithal to answer them soon —- and give them an idea of who did this to him, or where the others at the bus stop had gone. as soon as they had that information, perhaps the others here could act to track down their missing or the one who stabbed ezio.
an uneasy sigh; hands again shift to swap out bloodsoaked gauze for a fresh patch saturated with antiseptic, then press down firmly to hold the wound together as he thinks aloud. “if it is a stellaron that’s causing this… what do we have that can intervene? and who would be capable of leading that sort of intervention? in the alliance… I was on the yaoqing at the time, but the entire alliance has heard that the luofu’s outbreak wouldn’t have gotten under control if the divine foresight had lacked the assistance of the express crew.”
pale brows furrow slightly… he turns to moze next. “do you want to see if the others have found any leads?”
@taciturncorvidae @secondsovereign @revelation-heights.
A Stelleron. An Emanator of IX.
Too many thoughts were swirling inside Moze's mind as Mr. Welt raddles off his theories to them. Trying to comprehend while in-between running around to get both the men supplies they needed and assistance when asked. From how it sounds, things are a lot more complicated than what they first thought.
This Frankie that Mr. Welt was talking about is harboring a Stelleron, and being the main cause to all these disappearances in town. His brows furrow with worry at their odds. The only thing he knew of a Stelleron were through reports after the fact, so his knowledge is very limited. Would they even have what it takes to take one down with their forces currently? Even the Loufu had to expend multiple different resources to successfully suppress the Arbor's influence, and they just barely managed success.
The thought over-takes his brain that has him not paying attention to what he was doing. Almost pouring half the bottle of antiseptic on a cloth if it wasn't for his sharp reflexes. He lets's out a sigh of relief before Jiaoqiu addresses him. He nods at the orders given and begins to make his way over the group. His eyes directly landing on the Emanator of IX, to get a status report of any findings they might have found while they tried to save Ezio's life. If he was nervous, he didn't show it outwardly as they converse. He just hopes that the detective will pull through. Not just for pities sake, but mostly to get some answers as to what happened here.

Late Night Musings
GH Revelations 2025 | Moze & Seele
Seele had blinked several times in response to the request. Disbelief painted in her expression as such an important task seemed to be placed unto her calloused hands. To protect another, on behalf of another. Moze's words, his experiences of failure, his everything poured into one request: to protect his dear friend.
There was a pause, though it wasn't a pause of if Seele would do it or if she would reject the idea. No, the moment Moze asked for the favor, Seele knew she would agree, even if she believed there to be more fitting candidates for the job. It simply was who she was -- a helper, through and through, it's why she wore her red scarf so proudly wherever she could. It served as reminder of the promise she made when becoming an agent of Wildfire.
" Yes, I will, " she says, and there is no ' but ' though there is still a pause. Seele wanted to ask the same of Moze, to protect her world in place of her absence. Seele looked in the distance, noting the little Hook who seemed to be so radiant with energy. She was her world. Then, she thought of her partner, who stayed behind at the resort rather than joining in on this guided tour. She had become her moon. Seele wished to be the sun that offered protection and guidance to her world, and love and protection to her moon.
Yet, science dictates that one day, the sun must burn out. One day, the sun must die. Seele understood that concept, even if she didn't understand the reasons for why that phenomenon had to be the way it was.
" Could you...do the same for me? If something happened to me, could you keep watch over Hook? " Seele's face looked confident, scared, as she had to admit that something could happen to her. Then, her face took on a slightly reddened tone. " Could you uh...also check in on my...partner? If something happens to me? She's still at the resort, and is a Foxian like Jiaoqiu. She has reddish-brown hair and five pinkish tails, I don't think you could miss her. " Seele looked away, emabrrassed.
" I hope things don't need to come to that, though...for either of us. "
Relief washes over him at Seele's answer. The tension that he has been harboring for so long finally falls away. Body slumping against a nearby wall. Looking out at the Bus Terminal, seeing their companions one by one. Each one doing their own thing to help them with preparing for what is to come, or trying to preserve the very little freedom they have before it's time to set out again.
He smiles at them all before he turns it to Seele, a softness in them that usually is not there, but ever present in this very moment as she brings up Hook, and her partner. Happy she would give him the same amount of trust he was giving her. "I promise." Then he lets out a sigh. "And let's hope not."
Late Night Musings
GH Revelations 2025 | Moze & Seele
Seele had been checking through the supplies they gathered, making sure they had enough medical supplies and food for their next trip to the shadow of the night. Her organizing had been interrupted, as she snapped to attention at the sound of another's voice.
When she realized who it had been, she relaxed a little. Her time spent in the shadows of Belobog gave her ample time to hear even the faintest of details, yet everything about Moze managed to catch her unawares. He was quieter, quicker, and more calculated in his movements, so much so that it confused Seele how she managed to catch unto his conversation with Jiaoqiu just a few short days ago.
Speaking of that conversation, Moze brings it up once more. I thought he'd want to drop it. And Seele had planned to do just that, even though it was against her better judgment. She'd continue to investigate the voice herself, if she had to. Yet, he brings it up, and Seele cocks her head in confusion and curiosity as Moze brings up a favor. What could he want from me? I'm not nearly as useful as anyone else here. Yet she still chose to indulge. She wasn't so rude as to ignore a favor from someone who chose to trust her.
" Sure, what's up? What do you need? " She asked, expecting something small to come out of this. After all, Seele hadn't been most useful, at least in her own head, with her little breakdown just a few days ago adding indicator of that uselessness.
He hesitates for a moment. Something that is so unlike him, before he shakes away his own uncertainty. Turning to look at Seele with a look that speaks of his own weariness.
"If something were to happen to me. Would I have your word that you would look after Jiaoqiu?"
Maybe it was rude of him to ask this, Jiaoqiu was his own man able to take care of himself, but with them all being in an unfamiliar place, with danger lurking around ever corner, never really sure what the day will bring to them, but he wanted to make sure his friend would get out of this safe even if he didn't. He didn't want what happened with Hoolay to happen again. The uncertainty of the whole situation. If his friend lived, or died.
He never wants to experience panic like that ever again.
"In the past, I failed to protect him." The moment in the Shackling prison pops into his head. When they were surrounded by Borisin, and Hooley bursting out of his cell. Jiaoqiu's plan, entrusting him to get out the Shackling prison with his expertise in escaping any prison, only to fail him, and get lost within its walls. He failed him. A burden, he still carries with him in secret even after the catastrophe was over with and done. He didn't want to trouble his Foxian friend with this, as he was dealing with enough as is, so he can only keep his guilt swallowed and make up for it in his actions.
"And because of that failure, he suffered greatly for it." He knows he can trust Seele, he's seen her fight. He knows he can trust her with this, even if he were to fall. Moze looks at her, waiting for her to speak her mind.
disorientation.
RevelationHEIGHTS - week 2 interim with moze & welt.
as moze returns, jiaoqiu quickly takes some of the gauze from him to start drying the pooled, sticky blood around the main wound —- then, a request to moze follows. “please fold some gauze into a bundle, and then soak it with the antiseptic. hand that to me once it’s ready.” breath holds momentarily as jiaoqiu thinks… could anyone here before —- like tala, or any of the locals they’d recruited? —- have really wished him harm? but the notion mr. welt states about things changing… he had suspected something felt different, but couldn’t see enough to verify if that was the cases.
once the sterile gauze is handed to him, the hand cleaning blood around the wound drops the soiled gauze to take the new one, and jiaoqiu lifts his hand applying pressure for a fraction of a second to slide the gauze with antiseptic in against the wound. “the legion?… is that why… mr. welt, have you been hearing a voice talking about destruction, too? we weren’t here to intervene before mr. ezio was gravely wounded…”

Immediately, Moze follows Jiaoqiu's request. Taking a bundle of gauze and soaks it into antiseptic. Making sure to cover it with enough to get the job done, and hands it to Jiaoqiu.
The entire time, his mind rushes to many thoughts at the conversation. His eyes begin to dart around as Mr. Welt brings his suspicions to light. Annihilation Legion? Here? He then nods to Jiaoqiu to confirm what he was saying, "On the way here, we immediately heard a mysterious voice speaking to us about Destruction. Could it be related?"
disorientation.

upon hearing moze’s identification of the wound’s location, and mr. welt’s ideas for how to treat it, jiaoqiu nods his head and starts feeling through the traditional medical supplies kept on his belt… “I have a vial of dried and crushed yarrow here that can also work as an antiseptic and clotting agent in the meantime, until more astringent and padding is found. moze, I think it would be easier for you to find the supplies he’s talking about, if you can…” as he finds the right small glass jar in his belt, jiaoqiu opens it quickly and pours out some of the dried herb into one palm before moving to replace moze’s hand with his own.
the yarrow in his palm quickly starts to mix with the blood once he presses there quite firmly —- then, a strained sigh. “is this the only wound we see? if it’s just a single stab wound, perhaps the perpetrator moved quickly afterwards… but who would want to hurt mr. ezio like this?”
@taciturncorvidae @secondsovereign @revelation-heights.
Nodding at their instructions, Moze relinquishes his hands from the wound to allow the other two treat his wounds. His little knowledge of how to treat a wound this badly would only have him in the way. He gets up from his kneeling position to begin his search for those supplies.
He runs past the others, directing anyone who was willing to go search around the perimeter for anything amiss, or possible leads to who or what could have done. Throwing Hook a pitying look before sprinting across the Bus Terminal to the crates of supplies in the back. Beginning to rummage through to grab anything, and everything that could be useful. Gauze, antiseptic, a spare set of clothes, anything.
Once he has everything, he runs back and gives his collection of stuff to the two older gentleman. He stands nearby, waiting for any new orders given to him.

things feel wrong and different as they return for the night. even the ground beneath their feet has changed somehow once back at the terminal —- and soft murmurs of confusion and horror among the others speak volumes of what they have all found missing. a small family, a little girl… and a healthy bus driver. instead, the driver they have is on the ground, surrounded by a distinct scent of damp iron. when he comes over, jiaoqiu kneels down, and takes one wrist to try and feel a pulse; weak, faint, almost hard to detect with labored breaths, and the same hand is nearly ice-cold and bloodsoaked. even unable to see much, it’s not hard to tell mr. ezio is in bad shape.
the younger ones shouldn’t see this —- jiaoqiu turns his head, and calmly calls out two names who he wagered were perhaps more prepared: “moze, mr. welt…? can you two please come help me. I need your assistance identifying where he’s injured and if we’re able to stop the bleeding, before we lose him completely.”
it certainly felt and sounded like that could be the case at any minute. as he turns back down, gentle tone quiets —- “mr. ezio, can you hear me? can you tell us what happened?”
@taciturncorvidae @secondsovereign.
Moze quickly rushes over at Jiaoqiu's call, kneeling down beside his friend and the injured Ezio to try to assess where the open wound was. Noticing the build up on his shirt and lifts it to reveal a deep gash on the lower right part of his abdomen. Without hesitating, he takes a loose clothe from his pack and begins to apply firm pressure on the injured area to try to stop the bleeding as much as he could.
"Stab wound. Lower right part of abdomen. Currently, placing firm pressure to area." He tells Jiaoqiu. Ready and waiting for the other to give him his next steps to treat the wound, as well as Ezio's answer to how he ended up like this.
Late Night Musings
GH Revelations 2025 | Moze & Seele
It's been a couple of days after that conversation between the three of them that had him distracted as of late. Originally, he blamed it on brain fog from being run ragged for the past couple of days. All of them working tirelessly day and night to try and reclaim this ruined city that suddenly needed their aid to get back on its own feet. But would it ever get back on its feet? Would they ever get the root of this problem to do anything? His own thoughts reflected his somber mood, but his mind kept replaying the same conversation since its end.
Of protecting. The voice.
A scowl finds its way to his at the mere mention of it. The thing that was controlling them for its own possibly whimsy, just to toy with them as if they were mere toys instead of actual people. Its jeering laughter and scornful words, never leaving his mind since stepping foot onto that bus. Once he was sure of his choice, to defy the words spoken to him... But it seems his resolve has rapidly begun to dwindle on that notion, which has greatly impacted his focus, so significantly he was pretty sure that the others had noticed.
Why was this effecting him so much?
Before he could continue into his own spiraling thoughts, he hears a noise from behind him. Years of being an assassin has trained him to be able to pick up on the faintest of noises. He turns his head slightly to clock familiar purple hair, and his posture relaxes significantly.
He turns back to the dying light in front of him. While only a few hours left until the sun disappears over the horizon. He can't but wish it would stay just a little while longer so they could enjoy the peace a bit more before they have to go through hell again, but duty never sleeps, does it?
"The art of protecting is a scary one, isn't it?" Remembering the conversation they had with its strong connotations between death and protection. "May I ask a favor of you? If it not too much to ask?"
