the kids were under the care of a babysitter, and blaize welcomed the company of another adult. he loved his kids and generally disliked socializing, but he realized that he needed to try and put himself out there a bit more. he was thankful that people paid him to do something he enjoyed, but there were a lot of downsides. particularly when it comes to socializing with anyone. the tabloids would spin a story to sell more copies, and that often left a sour taste in his mouth. he didn’t trust people --- even before fame. 

he sat at the table waiting for mariella; he was way too early as usual. the waiters had annoyingly recognized him, and already he was in a bad mood. he slowly drank his drink wasting time and feeling a bit uneasy by the glances his way. he had half a mind to reschedule but silently convinced himself out of doing so.

❛ i don’t think it is narcissistic, ❜   he said exhaling his mint flavored vapor. it was nothing more than just vapor, but he knew that people still didn’t like to be around it. so he made sure that he blew it away from her.   ❛ it’s human to feel proud, and you should. its good work. ❜

Levi hummed as she took in the man’s appearance as he made his way towards her. She had seen him around Hollywood, she’s seen some of his work. “Do my eyes deceive me or is that Blaize Johnson, at a party?” she purred as she looked up at the man. “Thank you, it’s Aubrey Hepburn, figured I’d be classy for the night, you look good as Wolverine.” she complimented.

❛ thank you, ❜   he said with a smile.    ❛ i am hoping that the hollywood execs see this and cast me as the next wolverine. ❜   his tone was playful, but it was a secret wish for him.    ❛ well, it was a good choice. you are stunning. i honestly almost didn’t come. parties take a lot out me. ❜   while he didn’t reveal a lot about himself, it was well known that he was an introvert.   ❛ there are a lot of faces i don’t, uh, don’t quite recognize. ❜

he had sneaked away for a moment to get away from the crowds of the halloween party.  events tended to take a lot out of him emotionally.    ❛ don’t tell the others i’m hiding out, ❜   he said in a soft voice. he glanced up letting out a soft chuckle.   ❛ you have probably the best costume. poison ivy was always my favorite villain as a kid. ❜

Levi was sitting on the sofa in the middle of the party, leaning back in her ever so classy costume, her eyes were scanning the room for a potential life to ruin for the nigh, she hummed as she thought. She locked eyes with a fellow celebrity across the way and smirked, she sipped her dry martini as her eyes never left theirs, waiting for the other make their first move.

blaize was at the party because he felt obligated.  he wasn’t a social person and felt a bit uncomfortable if he was being honest.  he was dressed as wolverine, granted he was a bit taller than the comic version, he still captured the roughness of the character.  when he made eye contact with levi he was caught off guard.  he wasn’t used to others paying attention to him despite his star status.  he made his way towards her, and a bit awkwardly attempted to start a conversation.   ❛ uh, nice costume. ❜

𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒋.

               “Oh  yeah!  Who’s  the  best  in  all  the  land,”  he  said  in  a  cheery tone.  The  two  may  be  exes  but  she  still  had  a  soft  spot  in  his  heart.  Blaize was  a  serial dater,  but  he  tended  to  remain  friends with  those  who  he  dated. “Guess  who  has  tickets  to  see  that  show  the  girls  wanted to  go  to?”  he  asked. He  had  just  got  off  the  phone  with  a  buddy  who  owed  him  a  favor. He  pointed  to  himself,  “This  guy,  that’s who!”

𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒊 𝒂.

“Darling, Papaya Whip is so last fall, this fall I was thinking that Tea Rose would be much more vibrant.” The designer said to her team, holding up two shades of orange that pretty much looked the same. Toni then paused when she noted someone else “Put a pin in this” she coached her team before giving the person who’d entered the space her full attention “My dear, what brings you to my land of merriment?”

𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝒋.

               Blaize  was  redoing  his  youngest’s  room  for  her  birthday  and  wanted  to  run  a  few  things by  Toni.  Truthfully, he  was  a  big  softy, and  lived  for  his  kids.  She  had  wanted  the  room  to  be  tasteful  unicorn, and  he  wasn’t entirely  sure  that  he  was  on  the  right  track. “I  wanted  to…ask for  a  favor,” he  said  in  a  deep  but  soft  voice.  “See,  I  wanted to  surprise  Axelle  with  her  dream  room  for  her  birthday, but  I’m  a  bit  out  of  my  element…”
