@tacomateita
this meme is so fluttercord and angel
i am about to create an au SO self indulgent. the target audience is 1 person and that person is me
my honest feelings on AI are that humans are amazing and I don't really give a shit what a computer has to say
a human makes art? it's a reflection of their experience living on this earth, the same one I live on. it's an invitation to understand how other people think
a computer makes art? well, ok? I don't give a shit. you live in computer world. you're ones and zeroes. your art could be an interesting reflection of that experience, except it's actually just a slurry of what humans have made.
AI can splort out things that are cool or funny or interesting or even thought-provoking, sure. but I can't pretend I give much more of a shit than that because I know the artist and it has no beliefs or convictions or experiences. who gives a fuck
I feel cheated when I learn that a video I watched or a piece I read was plagiarized. the "author" didn't necessarily believe any of what they said so much as they just stole someone else's words.
I feel infinitely more cheated when I find out something I experienced was AI generated. cool, so not only did the "author" not believe what they said or what their "art" represents, nobody does.
I'm not even trying to make a moral argument against AI or whatever I'm just trying to express how I feel. I do not care what the computer has to say. I care a negative amount. do not show me what the computer has to say and pretend it can matter as much as what humans have to say
Ok I want to say something controversial
But you are responsible for your own safe spaces. You can block tags, block words, block people.
“But i thought fandom was supposed to be a safe space” —yeah you have to curate it.
Unfortunately one persons’s safe space may be another persons’ trigger. That’s ok. Simply block them, block the tag, block the word etc. They can do the same for you.
Maybe I’m just out of touch, but I’ve been around since the days of “don’t like, don’t read” and that’s a good philosophy. If it squicks you, scroll past. If it causes you anxiety or upset, block! Plenty of people are responsive if you ask them to tag an upsetting trigger. And if they’re dicks about it, block em.
Since different people have different needs, one person’s safe space will be another’s Trauma Central.
I don’t know who said it first, but “I need to be able to express my anger without shame” and “I need to be away from yelling and loud noises” are both valid needs people can have for a safe space that really aren’t compatible with each other.
So are “I need to process my trauma” and “I need to not meet any trauma.”
Or “I want a safe space to tell/read the stories that speak to me” and “those stories are distressing to me.”
Insisting that your needs are the only needs anyone should have is not a safe space, it’s its own act of violence.
You don’t get to make others homeless to make the universe your personal safe space.
its really hard to not see chilchuck when i look at robert so i was compelled to draw this
How dare you leave this in tags
THE AFTERSHOW - Chapter 1 (part 1/?)
This is the beginning of my attempt of adapting the fanfiction "The Aftershow" (<- mind the rating and tags!!!) by @munchiemooz of our shared AU into a comic! :D
Not only did mama raise a quitter, but she also raised a procrastinator, people-pleaser, doormat, coward, and liar, and you can’t put a price on that
so, I've personally only ever had a passing/very surface-level of interaction with MLP:FiM, but I just think it's really funny if Jax was somehow present at every single internet Devil's Sacrament that he conceiveably could have attended............ 😂😂😆 The thought brings me much joy~ 🫶✨️ ...Anyways—
bonus:
(bonus-bonus: (sorry))
He’s down bad
clocked back in to the chilshi factory, have more tallman au
"... You're what??"
This is an art piece by Rick Gibson, and yes, it works.
It was placed in different nightclubs for a total of three days, and over 1,200 people decided to pay to use it
contrary to popular belief not everyone has an innate sense of internal gender or care to have one or seek a name for it, some people go their whole lives without questioning their occupation in one of two gender roles, but for some people, if pressed, they don’t feel that internal sense of ‘i am a woman’ or ‘i am a man’, and in that case i feel the switch over to transgender vs cisgender relies on active identification of a gender other than the one they were assigned. if someone’s like ‘idk dude I just work here’ then that’s valid
#i would describe my gender as not exactly ‘idk dude i just work here’ #more like…..when someone assumes you work somewhere that you don’t #but you know how to help them so you do it anyway #my gender is wearing a red shirt at a target
These are the best tags
A portion of people in the notes are like ‘but that makes you trans. That’s called being agender’ and another portion of people are going ‘this is how the majority of cis ppl feel and it’s NOT agender’ and personally I feel like both of them are missing the point here. Yes a lot of people identify as agender because of this feeling. Yes a lot of people with this same feeling still identify as cis. These are not mutually exclusive experiences and it doesn’t mean the agender people are secretly cis or the cis people are secretly agender. It just means they have very similar experiences of gender that they choose to conceptualize and label differently, and neither of them are mistaken or wrong to do so.
WHY YOU SHOULD WRITE HORRIBLY:
1. You’ll never write anything if you don’t
More ROTTMNT + DDLC stuff, but this time they're just playing the game instead of being in it....idk either...
Leo and Mikey are me and my little brother frfr
I'm considering updating the other one if I can come up with anything good enough 💀
it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.
