Nothing is more infuriating than coming across an untagged gen ai fic, literally just filled with disgust every time. I'd wish they didn't exist at all but the least you could do is tag it so I can avoid it 🤢

#thankfully I haven't seen that many #and most of my fandoms up until this point were pre-gen ai #but now that I'm dipping my toes into some more recent fics/fandoms I've stumbled across a few #I was always afraid I'd read one and never notice but my god are some of them so noticable you can't unsee it #and like I don't say that lightly #every other line is “not x not y but z”#none of the usual clunkiness of a novice writer #just a robot #genuinely so anti art and anti human #real fanfic authors i love you keep it up you can never be replaced by ai slop #rambling into the void at 3am yessir
