BogClan lives in, well, the bog. Their camp is a clearing shielded by a river to the south and an oxbow lake to the north - entrances on east & west. There are three other clans - TaigaClan to the west, Tundraclan to the north, and LakeClan to the east.
The cats only just recently made their homes in the bog, and are still getting used to it and learning things about it...

Mass extinction events are OFF - for now...
Cats having kits with: Cats who aren't their mate, unknown second parent, their mentors, & their cousins, are all OFF - but note that the first two will be turned on at some point (just want to start slowly for now).
Pregnancy does NOT ignore biology, but same-sex adoption is increased.
Clan Population Limit
This isn't for any lore reason, I just personally don't like when my clans get super huge so I limit them lol.
-> "Soft" limit = 20 clan members
Meaning: I'll stop purposefully bringing in new cats at this point, but if cats join / have kits by random event in-game, then they can stay.
-> "Hard" limit = 30 clan members
Meaning: I absolutely will not allow the population to go above this point, and if someone joining / having kits exceeds the limit, then The Culling will begin.
Fun fact: Piperkit becomes an apprentice next moon! In the meantime, until I'm able to finish the first part (it's gonna be a long moon...), here's a sketch of him as an apprentice :D
Not really a fact, just something I forgot to mention:
I decided to turn deaths OFF for the first five months, so no (already known) characters will be allowed to die before moon 6 (uhh moon 0 doesn't count in the count i guess lol)!
But starting moon 6, the bog will have to be wary... :D
Owlstar's design is actually based off of a specific species of owl—the Great Horned Owl!
Another fun fact: I had also considered giving him fluffy ears at some point to make it more clear they're based off of ear tufts (as opposed to e.g. rabbit ears) but for some reason I decided against it...
Hey guys! Sorry the next moon part is taking so long, executive dysfunction has been kicking my ass lately. Here's a sneak-peak for what I have managed to get done!
Hey everyone! I'm going to be taking a one-week break from the bog so that I can focus on my finals. Unfortunately I won't be able to answer asks or finish Moon 2 until after this one week is over (But I'll still make sure to get to them eventually). I hope you can understand!
Your character designs and backgrounds are amazing! I don't know what it is about simplistic background (is that the right word? I promise I mean that in a good way), but I genuinely love styles like yours for landscapes. I can not wait to see more, Shadepaw is already my favorite!
