iâve gone through every single post in the yoonmin tag over the past 48 hours and iâm going to point out exactly how salty everyone is being and why itâs uncalled for :)))
so when yoongiâs short film was released, yoonmin shippers got excited and took to their blogs to comment on the fact that
yoongi and jiminâs symbols merged
jiminâs short film referenced yoongiâs (piano)
yoongiâs short film referenced jiminâs (bathtub)
yoongiâs short film was titled first love and the above reference
as with any thing on the internet they started making memes/jokes about it
#yoonmin confirmed (a play on the popular illuminati confirmed if youâre new to the internet)
yoongiâs first love = jimin
bighit ships yoonmin!
yoonmin rise!
and they started analyzing the video, as all ARMYâs do these days since bighit has no chill
the knee jerk reaction was obviously: yoongiâs short film references jiminâs and vice versa = first love?Â
first love is a lie? yoonkook was a lie? yoonmin was a lie? jihope was a lie?
possible yoonmin subunit?Â
yoonmin are connected through their similar stories? they both lost someone?
yoonmin are the ones who killed jungkook since their symbols together resemble a tire tread?

yoonmin are opposite elements? this is why they merged? opposites attract?

before we could even enjoy the fact that maybe there was a yoonmin connection, that maybe we might get a yoonmin subunit / duet in this album people started criticizing and from there it never stopped.Â

i donât know what you mean. itâs literally about yoonmin. maybe not the hyyh series, maybe not the wings theories, but yoongiâs short film was a blatant reference to yoonmin sharing a connection. if you cannot simply accept the truth in front of you may the lord help you because i canât reason with that kinda delusional shit.Â
FYI if you look back into hyyh series there are yoonmin references, them sleeping together at the ending scene, them in the cherry blossom tree, when yoongi wakes jimin up in run etc. so itâs not entirely a new concept - you weâre just blinded by your own convenience

excuse me? no one is ignoring the previous connections. no one single post said that the previous theories were irrelevant or that they didnât happen. we weâre simply relishing in the fact that in this one short film, first love, there was a yoonmin reference. we donât even know what the connection is, we were just happy they had one.
also how hypocritical of yâall to refer to jiminâs scenes in yoongiâs short film and their signs merging as âjust becauseâ âfucking bathtubâ âstupid circlesâ â2 second clipâ as if it isnât relevant to the entire picture / theory when you previously thought ALL ASPECTS OF EVERY COMEBACK EVER MADE BY BANGTAN, INCLUDING THE CIRCLES AND THE OVERLAPPING SCENES FOR OTHER PAIRS, WERE THE MEANING TO LIFE ???

tumblr is a blogging platform for everyone not just for you. weâre not doing anything wrong, weâre not even the ones being negative assholes and putting people down. weâre simply expressing our opinion, so no YOU shut up if you have nothing nice to say >.>

we didnât deny your ships, we didnât target your theories. if youâre angry it didnât go as you planned and that it doesnât make sense, you need to face reality and direct that anger and bts or bighit or whatever. we didnât MAKE it happen. we just enjoyed it when it did. and in no way or form should you be targeting yoonmin shippers for being happy.

y o o n m i n shippers are concerned with y o o n m i n if you hadnât realized? unless theyâre multi-shippers and also ship kookiemonster, why would we be hyping that?
that being said, i hope kookiemonster shippers enjoyed their moment and reference and are excited as we are about where bighit is taking these connections (if anywhere at all)!
anyways, i think the most important message is this one here: basically let people believe/ship what they want. it shouldnât be a difficult concept but yâall keep posting your negativity in the yoonmin tag and we shouldnât have to deal with it. if you want to keep being petty, do you, i only ask you stop tagging your posts yoonmin because we donât wanna see your shit :))Â
similarly @ yoonmin shippers if they have been posting these kinds of things in other ship tags, pls stop fueling them  i wouldnât know because i donât track other ships
This post just proving every issue I have with yoonmin shippers. That being said, do what you will on tumblr, it's your blog. But DON'T bring it to BTS' twitter. Seriously, it makes me sick seeing yoonmin shippers jumping on their posts and tweeting to them about their "boyfriend." You have no respect for any member of any group when you do that.
