ten year old jimin is devastated when his next door neighbour and first crush, fourteen year old seokjin, moves away - fast forward to twelfth grade, when jimin is eighteen and a little bit of a delinquent who has no respect for any of his teachers except there's a new teacher at school this year and it happens to be no other than kim seokjin and it's been eight years but seokjin is still just as stupidly gorgeous as ever and he just has so much faith in jimin that jimin has no choice but to actually start trying in school and maybe fall in love all over again

seokjin’s the pastry chef who works at the new bakery on fifth street and every day he sees this one high school kid walking home staring at the window display with the hungriest look in his eye and you know the kid's kind of cute so one day when seokjin sees him practically salivating over the new cheesecakes, seokjin grabs a batch of some test recipes he’s working on and gives them to the kid for free on the condition that he lets seokjin know if they're any good, or how jeon jungkook becomes seokjin's personal taste tester and also how kim seokjin accidentally gets a giant human puppy

jinhwan's the third son of a highly respected gangster family who's just transferred into a new high school and hanbin is the kid who has the misfortune of falling in love with him at first sight and you know hanbin's always sort of expected having to deal with over protective older siblings but in his imagination they were just sort of mildly disapproving not in charge of an underground criminal empire (bonus: bobby is jinhwan's bodyguard except in retrospect he's probably not a great bodyguard bc he keeps letting hanbin sneak into jinhwan's room at night so they can make out)

so seokjin decides to welcome his new next door neighbours with baked goods and so he heads over with a plate full of chocolate chip cookies and meets yoongi and namjoon, a pair of musicians who devour the cookies like they’re the best things they’ve eaten in years, and honestly seokjin is both a little impressed and a little flattered so he promises to bring more the next day and so he keeps on bringing yoongi and namjoon sweets and eventually seokjin finds out their fridge is basically empty so he starts buying them groceries and then he finds out they can’t actually make anything more complicated than instant ramen so he just starts cooking all their meals for them and he kinds of ends up sleeping over half the time anyway so he has all his clothes there and namjoon and yoongi are a little confused but they think they might have accidentally started dating their next door neighbour

Waiter kook always waiting for the bus after his shift and Jin sees him, knowing that the bus won't be there for another 45 minutes and offers a ride home to kookie bc he looks dead tired on his feet.

ahhhhhhhh i’m sorry i disappeared for a week and didn’t answer this earlier ;-; BUT OH MY GOD THIS IS SO CUTE 

and it happens the next day too and the day after that and eventually it just ends up that seokjin drives jungkook home every day and sometimes jungkook invites seokjin up for tea or coffee when seokjin looks like he kind of needs it and one time seokjin just falls asleep on jungkook’s couch and jungkook just calmly puts a blanket over him and then goes to the kitchen and starts quietly freaking out bc holy shit seokjin is asleep on his couch

WHAT ARE THOSE HEADCANONS FOR MAKNAE!JIN DROP THEM OMG

OK OK OKAY BUT JUST IMAGINE:

- tiny 16 year old Jin dressed in a pink hoodie and shorts with cheeks so round and full you just wanna squish them and he’s carrying some of his most prized collection of mario toys because his parents packED THEM OKAY AND HE MISSES THEM ALREADY and he hopes his hyungs will treat him nicely and oh god what if they don’t and what if they make him do really weird and difficult things as part of ‘initiation’ or something 

- Jin being super intimidated by all his hyungs because hoLY ONE OF THEM LOOKS LIKE THEY COULD BENCHPRESS HIM AND TACKLE HIM TO THE GROUND and one of them looks like he’s thinking of ways to kill him without anyone noticing and is it too late to drop out and go back to his parents

- Jin finding out that he has no reason to worry because they were all wrapped around his finger the moment they met him (i mean how can you resist this lil cutie) all he had to do was act a little cute and do a few puppy dog eyes and they were done for

- all of them are WEAK when it comes to Seokjin. All Jin has to say is “I’m hungry” and next thing you know the managers are running around ordering food left and right with 6 credit cards in their hands

- “Jinnie, who’s your favorite hyung?” 

“Obviously it’s me, I mean I’m the one who films every Eat Jin video.” 

“Excuse you, who’s the one that provides the food he eats in those videos, huh? They don’t just pop up out of nowhere; someone has to pay for them!”

“Pfft, you’re all being ridiculous, why does it matter who’s Jinnie’s favorite hyung?”

“Speak for yourself Yoongi-ah, we all know how much you loved it when Jinnie picked you as his roommate.”

- Jin is a cuddler when he sleeps okay so when he gets homesick and lonely he just goes up to Taehyung or Jungkook and just wraps his arms around them and curls in on himself to make himself smaller because when he closes his eyes it kind of feels like he’s back at home with his brother and his parents are right there next door

- OLDEST HYUNG JUNGKOOK AND MAKNAE JIN (can you hear me screaming)

- “I’m a growing boy, that’s why I eat a lot. I want to grow taller than Namjoon hyung!” “Jinnie, you have to grow taller than Hobi first.”

- ALL THE PETTING !! THE PIGGY BACK RIDES! THE OVERALL CUTENESS !!

I have more headcanons but this got really long lmao but seriously…maknae!jin is one of my weaknesses…

38. seokjin the librarian with a heart of gold and the shoulders of a god and also an unrestrained love for the dewey decimal system and jimin the grad student trying to write his dissertation or at least he would be if he didn't get distracted by the way seokjin smiles when jimin asks for book recommendations or seokjin's fingers as they lovingly graze a book's spine or the way seokjin's eyes light up when he sees jimin come to return his library books and yeah this dissertation's never getting written

Cont. waiter kook always waits around after close to help Jin clean up the kitchen with the rest of the staff and Jin may or may not give a portion of his tip payout to Kookie as a thanks. And kook just tries to give it back because he's not doing it for extra pay but to just hangout with Jin.

jin & jungkook don't really wear each other's things as there's a difference in their body shapes that just makes it awkward, too tight or much too loose. no one would catch jungkook dead wearing pink, either. at least not until jin's giving him That Look while holding up his pink hoodie, wide-eyed and beaming and wiggling his eyebrows while poking him 100 times, and tbh who can resist jin!!!

oh my god I can imagine this so clearly and seokjin’s just telling jungkook how cute it’ll look and how it’ll suit him so much and won’t he do it once, just for seokjin? and seokjin starts pouting and jungkook knows he’s screwed, absolutely and totally screwed

jungkook always pokes playful fun at jin on broadcast, calling him old and weak and anything else he can think of just smiling and snickering when jin shouts in offense, but the moment he sees someone else - hundreds of other people, even - do the exact same thing on the internet, something shifts. no one's ever really seen jungkook angry until that moment. (ilysm, hang in there, i hope you get better soon. <33)

I AM 100% HERE FOR THIS I LIVE FOR OVERPROTECTIVE KOOKIE he’d probably get super pissed and I always imagine an angry jungkook to be a quiet jungkook ahhhhhh I love this tysm!!!!!! (also tysm for the good wishes ily too and this made me feel a lot better 😊😊😊😊)
