Episode 6 showed how different of a hero Jang Uk and Seo Yul are. Uk would set the world on fire if that meant he could save the person he loves. If he had to choose between Naksu and everyone else, he would choose Naksu. Meanwhile Yul would kill the person he loves to save the rest of the world. He would choose the world over Naksu, although the first time he had to make the choice, he followed his heart just like Uk. What makes Yul even more complex character is the fact that yes, this time he would kill Naksu to save the world, but he would also die with her as he wouldn't be able to bear the pain of being the one who took her life. No matter who you prefer with Naksu, you must admit that both pairings are deliciously painful and so well developed.

It doesn’t even occur to Yeong that Jang Uk might have saved her until Dang-gu tells her about it because of the gruff and cold way he treats her. His actions belie his words, just like hers did when she was his master and showed she cared.
