GQ: When I was preparing for this interview, I kept thinking about this. Suga once said that your job is like going back and forth between the hot bath and the cold bath. And I thought Jungkook you seem to be always in the cold bath

JK: Why?

GQ: It’s like you are endlessly enduring the cold. I mean you are in such a position that you may well get yourself relaxed at a warm place, but you’re constantly going hard on yourself. You cry at concerts because you think you’re lacking. Even now (you speak so)

JK: (Jungkook laughed tiny)

GQ: I think that’s your grit

JK: I appreciate it that you put it that way. It’s just that I can’t just bear doing nothing. It comes hard on me if I rest for a long time. That is, it gets hard in my mind. So I have to do something, anything.

JK: Even if I say to myself "Let's just don’t mind anything else but let’s just spend time for me today, I find myself at something doing it before I know. So, I think since I’ll turn out doing something anyway, so why not just do it a little more "harder"

JK: Even if I don't want to work out, I work out. I record melodies as soon as they come to my mind. If I feel like writing lyrics, I repeat writing & deleting. Then I see an English book right over there, then I read it. I'm trying to do lots of things, small things

JK: I don’t go deep. I hope I can go deep. That's how I’m living these days

GQ: Do you agree that you’re in the cold bath?

JK: Well, yeah, at least in that I’m out of it. When you go into cold bath, you go “Eu-a-a-ah”. “Eu-ah!” that kind of vibe
