i was inspired by @princeyoungho’s post to make this post!!

basically i think these two kids

are winwin and taeyong.

reasoning:

it’s pretty obvious these two are connected in some way.

example #1: the origin

we’ve already established that the kid from the origin is taeyong, judging from when he wakes up in a pit of sand in synchronization of your dreams

this means that taeyong in the origin can see winwin in his dreams.

example #2: 7th sense

this shows that winwin can see taeyong in his dreams, and possibly see taeyong’s dreams as well judging from this screenshot:

example #3: s.m kids model contest

i definitely think one of these kids is winwin, since his teaser and this video both have a white moth

also just judging from their appearance, the kid on the left looks like taeyong and the on the right looks like winwin. you can also tell from the colors they’re wearing. taeyong has been wearing white in the origin and synchronization of your dreams, and winwin wearing blue in 7th sense.

theory:

1. taeyong and winwin once lived together and are now separated 

                                                  or

2. taeyong and winwin only know each other through their dreams and communicate through them.

(i would love yall’s input on this)

to summarize:

winwin and taeyong are the two starting/central points of nct. they can see each other through their dreams and (maybe?) were together as children.

Just between u and me fam, I'm a little annoyed at how the fandom has portrayed taewin' relationship as this side ho to wi//nku//n and yeah the sugar daddy jokes were really funny at first, but I think that's how the fandoms sees tw relationship and it's a little irritating that is isn't being taken with the same seriousness as wi//nku//n. • so winwin introduces himself kinda awkwardly but like whatever but then taeyong’s there right 

 • so taeyong just looks kinda shocked

• like who wouldn’t you might’ve just met your soulmate who knows bc

• hey my soulmates name is sicheng and he’s Chinese and he dances too

• bc he still remembers everything about him even if they haven’t talked in a while

• and he’s internally freaking out but then

• and winwin and taeyong’s eyes meet and

• eVERYONE

• CAN FEEL THE ATTRACTION

• AND THEN THEYRE LIKE BOTH 99.99999999% SURE THEYVE MET THE PERSON THEYRE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES

•he didn’t think he would find his soulmate bUT HE THINKS HE MIGHTVE????

• but winwin still isn’t confident in his Korean and they’re both two shy to interact with each other

• so they both draw a smol something on their wrists that night so they can like, double check right

• and in the morning they wake up to a new thing on each other’s wrist as they anticipate the day bc they’re both 99.9999999% sure the other person is their soulmate

• and behold during their break from dance practice taeyong looks at winwin’s wrist and tHERE IT IS THAT THING HE DREW NEXT TO THE THING SICHENG DREW

• aND HE SEES WINWIN EYEING HIS WRIST AND THEY KINDA JUST NOD TO EACH OTHER BC THEY HAVE TO GET BACK TO DANCE PRACTICE EVEN THO THEY JUST WANNA RUN INTO EACH OTHERS ARMS

• but okay so after they finish both of them are in this now empty practice studio that kinda smells like sweat but it’s okay

• and taeyong opens his mouth to try to greet him in the broken Chinese he knows

• bUT WINWIN IS SLY ASF AND JUST SLIDES UP TO HIM AND KISSES HIM ON THE LIPS

• AND TAEYONG IS KINDA SHOCKED BUT HE JUST GOES WITH IT ANDHE KINDA JUST PLACES HIS HANDS ON WINWIN CHEEK AND ITS THE CUTEST SHIT EVER

• and when the break apart for air winwin just pulls him into a hug and says the one Korean phrase he’s remembered over the years

• ‘I’ve been waiting to meet you for so long’

• and taeyong has been so close to sobbing this entire time because he honestly thought he would never meet his soulmate but here he is in his arms

• and those words just break him down and he just starts crying and holds onto winwin even tighter and through his tears he whispers

• “me too” in Mandarin and

• wINWIN STARTS SOBBING TOO AND THEYRE BOTH CRYING AND THEYRE HOLDING EACHOTHER SO TIGHT AND TAEYONG IS JUST PLACING LITTLE KISSES INTO WINWINS HAIR AND THEYRE KINDA ROCKING BACK AND FORTH AND

• THIS IS THE CUTEST THING EVER

• AND THEYRE JUST THINKING ABOUT HOW FUCKING LUCKY THEY WERE AND

• okay so lemme tell you a bit about post-meeting each other

• they had the shyest first date ever

• that included lots of ice cream and a tour of Seoul

• so much skinship I’m screaming

• remember winwin’s Korean still isn’t good but that’s okay bc now he has taeyong to help him with it in his minimal English and Mandarin

• and as winwin gets better in Korean he starts to teach taeyong phrases in Mandarin and it’s so cute

• and everyone thinks they’re the cutest shit ever

• taeyong sometimes thinks he isn’t good enough for winwin

• and they might argue a lil bit but in the end winwin always reassures him that taeyong is more than perfect for him

• when taeyong told winwin about his past he cried so much because he realized how lucky he was to even meet winwin let alone have him be so understanding about the situation

• when taeyong debuted in nct u they had rlly cute date for themselves

• same goes for when they debuted together

• they go on ice cream dates a lot

• and their parents are so happy because they were so worried their kids wouldn’t get to meet their soulmates

• and honestly everything about their relationship is magic and it’s amazing

• and they take care of each other so well • you wish you and your soulmate were as cute as them

soulmates!taewin pt. 1

okay so I put up a textpost bc I kinda wanted to write and stuff and I aCTUALLY GOT A REQUEST??? (via @dictatormahafia) and I was like you know what imma do it so here we go

(note that I haven’t written anything in about a century and I’ve never written something for KPOP so this might end up to be terrible iM SORRY) (I’ll link part two when I get to a computer, but you can find it on my blog for now :)))))

• alright so in this universe whatever you write on your arm appears on your soulmates right and vice versa

• so lil like, seven year old taeyong is at school right and he’s sorta paying attention to what the teacher is sayin

• but like, he looks down at his arm and all of a sudden he sees a bunch of colourful marks appearing on his arm out of nowhere

• and boy thought some supernatural stuff was going on aND HE SCREAMED

• and his teacher kinda stopped her lesson and looked over and she just sees a distraught little kid with his hand pointing to his now colourful arm

• and teacher is the bestest teacher ever and she just pulls him to the front to sit with her and she completely forgets her lesson and starts telling the class about soulmates

• and lil taeyong is in awe like omg is this real

• and he just stares at his arm for the rest of the day while the other smol children ask him tons of questions about it

• but he doesn’t rlly listen because he’s just in awe about the fact he has a soulmate

• and when he gets home he asks tons of questions bout it and they’re so happy for him and they tell him tons of stories about it and stuff

• which just makes him mORE CURIOUS

• so after he’s done grilling his parents for questions he grabs a pen and writes on his right arm (vvv messily) ‘hi’

• meanwhile a lil five year old winwin is playing with his toys or whatever when he sees words start to appear on his arm and his reaction is rlly similar to taeyongs reaction

• thIS BOY SHRIEKED AND STARTED CRYING LIKE WTF IS THIS I DIDNT PUT THIS THERE

• and his parents like bolt to where he is and they’re like wHaTs wRonG

• and winwin is crying as he points to his arm

• and his parents smile and explain to him bout soulmates after winwin calms down a bit and they ask to see what his soulmate wrote but then they realize

• oh shit

• this ain’t chinese

• so later when they put winwin to bed they’re like fuck what do we tell him what do we do

• so yeah fast forward a bit to the next day

• taeyong is constantly looking at his arms like whERE iS mY SOULMATE DO THEY NOT LOVE ME

• and he’s all pouty n stuff

• when then he sees some writing in Chinese appear on his arm and boy is like

• tHE HELL’s THIS WHAT

• so he runs to his parents and is like mOTHER FATHER THIS AINT IN HANGUL

• and he expects his parents to know what it says OFC bc parents are supposed to know everything right

•but his parents eyes widen and they’re like winwin’s parents

• oh shit

• (but they don’t say that obvs bc there is a smol child there waiting for an answer)

• so they do a bit of googling and stuff before they write down in what they hope is ‘I don’t speak chinese, I speak korean’ on taeyongs arm while smol boy is confused

• and winwin goes back to his parents to show them his new message with a confused face

• and the handwriting and punctuation is godawful but they got the general idea of it

• so winwin’s parents put him in Korean lessons

• and taeyong’s parents put him into Chinese lessons

• and even at a young age they try their best to learn the language so they can begin to communicate with each other

• but neither sides learn it vv quickly and they both start to learn English so

• they start trying to communicate in English

• but it hella frustrates them bc all they can write is ‘hello, my name is taeyong/sicheng’

•and for years they can barely communicate at all bc taeyong dropped Chinese lessons for dance and school

• and same for winwin bc he learning to dance

• and they both have school and they try to communicate in English (barely) bc they got frustrated trying to learn their soulmates language with bad teachers bc they got rlly bad teachers sadly

• and eventually communication sorta comes to a halt when school becomes more intense for both of them

• and winwin gets rlly into Chinese traditional dance

• and taeyong gets casted by sm

• and for a rlly long time they almost forget they even have soulmates despite seeing ppl with their own soulmates

•until one day

• winwin is casted by sm

• and even if he didn’t know his soulmate was in Korea he would’ve jumped on that train anyways

• so he moves to Korea to become an idol and learn Korean all over again bc he wants to perform and he wants that chance to meet his soulmate and communicate with them

• and at this point they’re not smol children but smol adults instead

•so when he gets to Korea, he knows vvvvv minimal Korean and has a hard time getting to the SM building and when he’s there he’s stuck to Kun (who he meets when he gets there) like glue

• and then they meet the other rookies

• and the two of them introduce themselves in broken korean

• and this is where stuff starts happening
