Does Wei Wuxian have ADHD?

Absolutely.

One, because I have ADHD and I said so haha. But in all seriousness, Wei Wuxian, as portrayed by Xiao Zhan in The Untamed drama is a better example of various aspects of ADHD than I’ve seen in a lot of media. I’ll go through the official diagnostic criteria, and also some of the other research surrounding ADHD in adults. I’m somewhat ignoring the gender differences in men and woman, because those are somewhat specific to culture and socialization, and my experience in US modern culture as a woman* with ADHD is not the same as a man in this fantasy ancient China, and therefore I’ll try to just stick to things with concrete examples in the text, and some conjecture with as much evidence as possible. However, this is also for fun, so I’m not gonna stress too much either! (Begone urges to write an academic paper on this, I’m not in school anymore!)
