Even despite the foreignness of the bush, Lukas still felt completely at home in the lull of the forest. There was a certain shine to the tittering of the leaves, soft birds floating between the trees, leaving behind quick glimpses of their loving songs. There really was only one problem with it.
The camping trip brought people with it, and as if the steady scrunching of dirt beneath their feet wasn’t annoying enough, the person next to him was awfully chatty - something something magical creatures.
“You know what my favourite part about this forest is? Silence.”
