Antonio had just sat upon the beach moments before the rain had decided to pour down and saturate everything. In a way he was glad he chose against grabbing a ice cream like he had wanted it would’ve gotten destroyed. So instead of leaving his spot to stay looking out at the waves as they came in.
He didn’t rise to his feet until he saw Lukas, he looked he wasn’t enjoying himself anyone now that he was drenched. “Bizzare weather huh?” He ran a hand through his hair to push back some strands.
Ah, Antonio - the man who’d bought him coffee that one somewhat awkward time. It’d been a long time since Lukas had seen him and he couldn’t decide whether he was relieved that he’d run into somebody that he already knew or if he was positively mortified. He neither wanted nor needed somebody he knew to see him in this kind of a state - sloppily dripping globs of rainwater from his entire person.
Trying to brush back some of his own soaked hair, Lukas did his best to remain nonchalant but in all honesty, he was ready to simultaneously punch the sky for drenching him and also crawl into a pit of shame, never to emerge again.
“...You could say that.”
