You yawned, stretching your arms above your head, your shirt riding up a bit, showing your soft tummy to the world, but you didn’t really care at all. It was just yourself and your boyfriend Eustass at your place for your weekly date night and this time you both just watched the new Conjuring movie and you did admit, it was a bit freaky at some parts. Hell, even he kept his mouth shut and didn’t make fun of the movie like he usually did.
Getting up, you noticed he was still in the kitchen doing the few dishes you guys accumulated during your snacking session as the movie played. It made you smile when you saw him doing domestic stuff like that and you couldn’t help yourself as you quietly strode into the kitchen, your arms opened wide as you hugged his back, your arms wrapping around his front. What you didn’t expect was the short scream that escaped your boyfriends mouth.
In your three years of being together, you can honestly say that this was the first time you heard him scream out, well in fright that is.
“Umm, sorry?” You really weren’t sure what to say as you nuzzled your plump cheek into his warm back.
“Fuck, (Y/N)! You scared the shit out of me.” At this point, he shut the water off and dried his hands on a dish towel before turning around so he could wrap his arms around you properly. You mumbled something into his chest.
“The fuck did you say?”
Groaning out, you tilted your head up so you were locking eyes with the fiery red head.
“I said, don’t worry, I’ll protect you from all the big, band monsters, baby.” You gave him a wink as he only growled at you and hoisted you up and over his shoulder.
“Put me down!”
“Not a chance babe, looks like I gatta show you what big and bad really means, hope you don’t have plans tomorrow.” Giving your ass a few taps, he made his way up to your bedroom, a giant smirk plastered on his face the whole way.
