One of Apollo’s goals of his councilmember work was to ensure Pythia’s relevance on the island and her comfort. He had done several tasks with their work that secretly aimed to do so: improving her temple, emphasizing the need for her opinion, etc. In some ways, it guided most of his thoughts, and so when he had proposed to build a new gazebo that would overlook the island not far up the mountainside, there was a purpose there as well. With him fully funding the creation, the miniscule request had been accepted.
After a few days of some skilled demichildren building the beautiful, greco-inspired gazebo and a talented flower child growing plants for it to overlook, the site was complete. Apollo had spared no time getting to his latest creation. It had came to him in a vision, one he thought of creative inspiration but now wondered if it was fabricated by fate. Though the summer heat, the walk was nothing for the god, and he would enter the structure.
Leaning on one of the pillars, Apollo sighed as he overlook the field of delphinium flowers. He was impressed, and the sight alone did well to pull at his heartstrings. The god was pleased, and reveling in the moment, the soft patter of footsteps would pull him from his thoughts. Turning his head toward them, he asked, “Here to see the new gazebo?”
