What is one of Kurai's interests that he pursued for a bit then lost interest in?

Kurai wasn't exactly allowed to pursue any sort of interest when under Metal Sonic.

Outside of it, Kurai definitely tried cooking. He found he really enjoyed food and attempted to make it himself but soon found it to be too much work especially when he lived a nomadic lifestyle.

Smash!Kurai tried dating. He really thought he might've found some sort of romantic love for awhile.......... And then it turned out to be a robot and he ended it immediately and distanced himself from her.
