Hall filled with young adolescents -- they are prepared to conquer the outer world with their inexperienced hands and clustered minds; youthful and filled with great apprehensions, they steps into the beginning of the next chapter in their lives. Adulthood. He’s wearing the same outfit as everyone else -- nothing too distinctive or exceptional, and neither are his sentiments because everyone has mixed feelings upon graduation; is highschool truly over? What are they going to do now? Were they accepted to the university they applied for or are they going to work until they are out of energy to make a new step into the ‘real’ world awaiting outside? He’s perturbed by all of those, patently --- albeit, what holds him on is seeing his parents smiling proudly at him for all the hard work that he’s done for the past years. This is it, the end of twelve arduous years of blood sweat and tears. Hours that he’s spent studying and learning and studying over and over again, expanding his knowledge and stressing because of exams... they are over. Throughout the entire ceremony it all seemed fanciful like reality was passing by his eyes quickly, or like it was a fantasy world and he was removed from that experience. Surreal indeed but mostly enlightening.
Beamed grin plastered across his pink lips and detached from his parents’ lingering embrace, his eyes lay upon a mildly tall figure. He paces closer slowly and gracefully (which is completely unlike him) until their bodies are merely ten centimeters apart and in an instance, there is an expression saying ‘we did it’; facilitated and astir. He hugs her without a second thought -- it is a terse moment yet, disregading his strong aversion towards physical affection he gives her arm a light thud of his fist, his free hand grasping onto her diploma. The vanity reflected in his eyes is manifest and for an exchange he is gratified that he’s lacking the skill to remain expressionless. She did so well, by her own and he is incredibly boastful of her.
