         These are words which ache deep down in the midst of his chest ; the smile he has gotten so used to over these years -- impertinent and spirited now erased and exchanged for grimace ... no, he does not like it and it is quite manifest in the way he silently remonstrances to the expression given to him. What ever she has done this time will not (and generally speaking never) make him love her any less -- witnessing a beloved one doubting themselves can bring one's spirit down without any vacillations and he exhales deeply to (as if) emit the frustration which piles up in his failed endeavor to invigorate her spirit. With a frown over his face he whispers   ❛ me too... ❜   and it is barely audible, so hshed that he, himself, can hardly believe he has uttered those words. And there is a moment of silence passing by ; it is brief however ponderous and they cannot help themelves but sink into morbidity which is rather inevitable, if inquired to him. He's toil and repentant for not having the proper skills to make someone feel better in times of despondency -- not physical nor verbal abilities ... only an innocently courteous smile which plasters atop his lips and an earnest pair of eyes to offer solicitude, as much as possible. She is his best friend and seeing her like that is nowhere near to his liking (to say the least) so he chooses to smile towards her for he believes smiles are contagious ... but boy, isn't he wrong at times ----- his naive belief in good and humanitarianism can deeply disappoint sometimes, tragically. There is still a brighter approach in him which does not cease to exist nonetheless of how many times his heart is broken or pride damaged and he chooses to behave accoring to her. Anything -- he will do anything to make her smile once again ... even if his words are mumbled in such a bulky ungraceful way. He only means well.

         Feigned convulsion drawn atop his expression and his face instantly turned mortified, as if genuinely affronted by her disapproval of his anserine word.          ❛ That’s not entirely true… sweets can harm you if you overdose I mean caries, and diabetes and let alone that sugar is unhealthy for you if you eat too much of it… I mean, if the health issues this causes do not alarm you then maybe I should press a sensitive spot to all women (that’s at least what mom says) and say that it’ll make you eventually fat. Like, fat, overweight that you’ll need to buy a new pair of jeans since you won’t fit. Don’t get me wrong, sweets are awesome and sugar is eventally a significant source of energy in your body, and it’s okay to eat some once in a while but moderatedly... Excess glucose fills your body with more suagr than needed and your liver’s sugar storage capacity is exceeded -- when the liver is maximally full, the excess sugar is converted by the liver into fatty acids. Mhm, fat -- and returns to the bloodstream. It fills places like stomach, hips, butt...? Once these regions are full of adipose tissue, the fatty acids begin to spill over into your organs like the heart liver and kidneys which reduces organ ability, raises blood pressure, decreases metabolism.... You get what I’m trying to say, right? Look, you’re getting me in a mom mode since I’m worried for your health… tsk. Besides, just for your knowledge I will not carry you places if you gain weight, I won’t help you get up from the floor like I usually do. ❜

        ❛ What I know for sure is that you’re very indecisive and you need to make up your mind first, before speaking.❜    He’s discernibly cajoled by her coaxing impiety and that is something that just cannot be concealed nonetheless of his endeavors to halt the midly bashful smile from spreading across his lips -- and when he finally gives in to the smile, his eyes are squinted along with a diverted expression as he’s amused by their exchange of words. He loves for and that is certain -- one of the things he loves about her is such approach that she offers him... he’s quite delighted by the ambience they always lay -- infantile and jocular albeit in a innocuous way. As long as it works and no one of the two is affronted by any of their words then they would most likely continue to pound jocose insults at each other.   ❛If I’m stupid then you must be brainless because last time I checked you were much dumber than me -- and besides, my handsomeness is the weakness of all women out there as for you ... you’re... meh.          Hall filled with young adolescents -- they are prepared to conquer the outer world with their inexperienced hands and clustered minds; youthful and filled with great apprehensions, they steps into the beginning of the next chapter in their lives. Adulthood.  He’s wearing the same outfit as everyone else -- nothing too distinctive or exceptional, and neither are his sentiments because everyone has mixed feelings upon graduation; is highschool truly over? What are they going to do now? Were they accepted to the university they applied for or are they going to work until they are out of energy to make a new step into the ‘real’ world awaiting outside? He’s perturbed by all of those, patently --- albeit, what holds him on is seeing his parents smiling proudly at him for all the hard work that he’s done for the past years. This is it, the end of twelve arduous years of blood sweat and tears. Hours that he’s spent studying and learning and studying over and over again, expanding his knowledge and stressing because of exams... they are over.  Throughout the entire ceremony it all seemed fanciful like reality was passing by his eyes quickly, or like it was a fantasy world and he was removed from that experience. Surreal indeed but mostly enlightening. 

Beamed grin plastered across his pink lips and detached from his parents’ lingering embrace, his eyes lay upon a mildly tall figure. He paces closer slowly and gracefully (which is completely unlike him) until their bodies are merely ten centimeters apart and in an instance, there is an expression saying ‘we did it’; facilitated and astir. He hugs her without a second thought -- it is a terse moment yet, disregading his strong aversion towards physical affection he gives her arm a light thud of his fist, his free hand grasping onto her diploma. The vanity reflected in his eyes is manifest and for an exchange he is gratified that he’s lacking the skill to remain expressionless. She did so well, by her own and he is incredibly boastful of her.

22. when was the last time someone told you they loved you

        That would be when noona woke up in the middle of the night and... well, we had some deep talk and she told me that she loves me. I like hearing that... I should ask her to say it again.

23. who is your best friend and how did you meet

         My best friend is Park Areum, the tiny ray of sunshine -- she’s been my friend for years now... ever since middle school, I believe? No, no-- before that-- our moms are friends, I recall; we attended some sort of annoying event and our moms insisted that we played together as we were one of the only children there, I think we were about eight or nine years old... something like that and I do recall being really fond of the way she played with me. She wasn’t a typical girl playing barbies or whatever, we ran together after a ball and our moms scolded us for dirtying our formal clothes but I remember that both of us looked at one another and laughed. We met here and there, asking our moms to drop us by the playground or mall to meet and when we found out we both were going to attend the same middle school... Ah~ my heart almost bursted out of my chest -- we would meet between classes and make fun of teachers we disliked, did some group projects together and I remember that I used to go to Areum’s house a lot and we did homework together, then played all kinds of games. When she came over, we’d play video games and it was like I had a guy friend to shoot zombies with -- but she was also really good as a friend, because she’s a girl and she’s more sensitive, understanding. I remember that growing together was fun, because not only that we are the same age and we go through the same mishaps together, she was and still is the only person who understands me and loves me despite my idiocy. So yeah... that’s how we met, at first... my best friend and I.

25. do you get sick often

         Unfortunately, I do. It’s really frustrating that I have to keep away from sick people even if they’re my friends and all I want is to be able to comfort them and nurse them back to health, and that every change of weather has me getting a cold, the least.

26. do you live alone or with other people

        I live with my fiance in Hongdae. I don’t think I’ll be able to live by myself yet, not finanacally wise or like... I can’t cook, I’ll live on instant noodles for years until I’ll find a wife if I wasn’t with noona, so this is fun... it’s like I’ve been used to my whole life, with just the responsibility of paying the bills and doing chores and all...

27. when was the last time you saw your family

        I believe it was a month ago... I dropped noona in my parent’s house because she had some errands with my mom and I said a brief ‘hi’ to my parents before going to work... so yeah, that was it. I should call them and check up on them soon but I’m ... too busy to engage into a long conversation of how am I doing and am I eating well and all that...

28. what do you want to achieve in the next year

       Woah, that’s... there isn’t much time left until the next year would arrive so I suppose I’ve got to think about some goals right now. Well, I guess... that’d be getting a promotion, having more opportunities to enhance my studies and knowledge, marrying noona, perhaps?

        Ever since I fell for Areum noona, I do. 

30. have you ever been hurt by someone you thought cared about you

        Of course. I think it happens to every one; getting hurt by people we care and we thought cared about us -- whether it’s intentional of them to hurt us or not, every person experiences sucha feeling at least once in their lives, I believe. It sucks, I know, but I think experiences like these can teach you a lot about people and how to behave around others and who to trust.
