❧: Random affectionate headcanon

Molly and her family are largely the reason why Alice is no longer afraid to have children. Of course it’s daunting, and of course it’s not something that she could just easily jump into, but seeing Molly with her gaggle of ginger miniatures has made her yearn for something motherly, someone to love and be loved in that capacity. She sees the Weasley boys running about the yard while sitting with Molly and a cup of tea, and just wonders what it might be like to have a child of her own. Alice considers Molly to be incredibly brave for having a family in such times as these; bringing love into the world is perhaps the bravest thing she can do, Alice figures.

And dammit if she doesn’t love those kids like her own. Maybe that’s as close as she’ll ever get.
