The town promises magic, love, and even healing, but a darkness festers at its center. Dark, twisted creatures crawl out of the forest in the dead of night, something is definitely wrong with The Mayor, and the Lighthouse Keeper is loosing memories. Can the Winchesters and their new friends figure out what's wrong with the town in time? Will it be enough?

This may be a bit of a weird one, but I've been longing for this. Do you know of any sort of Jurassic Park/Supernatural crossover fics?

The dreaded curse of the tumblr trend has returned! I saw the gif set for this last week, lol.

Ok, so I’m going to outline a general process for looking for crossovers/AUs/fusions. If you submit an ask about a crossover, we’re going to assume you’ve already done this. If we personally know of some crossovers, we’ll definitely list them but we’re not going to go searching and doing all the work for you if we don’t know of any either. If we don’t personally know of any, your ask will end up on a group ask for other followers to help with! Again, we’re working to cut down on the number of published asks (so as to not clutter up the dash of our followers). ETA: We no longer accept anonymous asks about crossovers.

To see if this blog has a crossover: Use the search engine. Search for the title of the movie/book/tv series/etc. You might want to consider using quotes. You can also see the reference post for crossovers. We’re pretty sure we got them all. (If you find any with the search engine that aren’t linked on the reference post, drop us a line about it!)

Check AO3: go to the castiel/dean winchester tag and use the “search within results” field. Again, consider using quotes around the title of the crossover. There’s also a drop down menu for fandoms. You can select these to find crossover fics.

Check spnstoryfinders: click this link and add the title of the crossover you are looking for. I usually include “castiel” in my search since the site isn’t specific to destiel. You can also go to the main page since, like spn-au, they have tags in the form of “crossover: X.”

Plain old google: Search for something along the lines of “dean castiel [title] crossover” or “destiel [title] fanfic.”

Night of the Hunter [R, 33,300 word count] (bonus sabriel)

Paleontologists Dean and Sam Winchester have been offered a once in a lifetime chance to accompany Chuck Shurley, an eccentric man who funds their paleontological dig, to his resort island. Once on the island, they meet Chuck’s son, Castiel, his grand children, Anna and Balthazar, and his nephew, Gabriel. The island’s guests are introduced to the wonders of genetic engineering, resulting in real, live dinosaurs - ones they can touch, and see. Though Gabriel is the only outspoken about the dangers, the others attempt to reconcile their fears with their own awe - and the desire to believe that real, live dinosaurs are safe.

Before they can come to their own conclusions, a hurricane knocks out the island’s power, leaving the island’s occupants helpless, separated from the rest of the world and each other. The ones stranded outside the security of the control center have to evade the now free, and violent, dinosaurs while attempting to make it back to safety, while the ones back within the control center need to find a way to restore power, get help, and keep themselves alive.

We have reviewed Player 2 Is Ready :).

Dean and Cas play some video games in Shootin’ You Straight but that’s not plot related. Cas plays Angry Birds in an Redemption Road episode here, even less plot related. Some search results from AO3. There’s been a few high school AUs where it’s mentioned briefly…but not enough to post here (or comb through fics looking for it).

Sam, having known Dean his whole life, knew the difference between Dean’s fake flirting and Dean’s real flirting, and he’d cross the line into real flirting about a month ago. Dean could tell Sam knew he’d stepped in the “I may kind of like this dude that is fucking awesome at this game and whose voice I can’t get enough of but have never actually met” territory when Sam kept turning around to look at Dean while they were playing, giving him a look like he felt sorry for Dean and his unrequited love with his gaming buddy.

Heey baby, I love your blog, keep on the good work! I was wondering if you have some fanfics similar to "A Cold Academic Hell series" on the point with dean/cas and sam/gabriel and the strong character build? not necessarily college au, and with more sex? I found the sex parts, or more the lack of sex parts, unsatisfying.

I don’t personally read a lot of sabriel, but have you tried Morning Teach? It starts off mostly destiel (with the sabriel focused on later). Lots of sex. Additionally, I’d suggest looking through our sabriel tag (and maybe cross referencing our porn tag).

Hey, just throwing in another 'Final Battle'-fic; Dies Irae by alchemyalice was really good in my opinion, not very angsty, but with great dramatic battle scenes and some minor character deaths I think.
