i can never quite shake the idea that one day, silver will inherit team rocket. a huge part of his arc in pokespe was always overcoming his heredity, removing himself from the shadow of his father and even dedicating himself to changing giovanni himself

at the end of hgss giovanni entrusts lance and pryce to train silver so that one day they can have some big fateful father-son showdown, but i have a difficult time imagining silver taking to pryce's training very well because... PRYCe? he still really hates pryce i refuse to accept any alternative to pure hate and mistrust
