34: Our muses are gender for a week.
The thick soles of boots thudded dully against the concrete floor in her rush. Mikasa suddenly felt only more aware to the looks that were thrown in her direction, some outright staring and the others peeking shyly. It had never been of much concern to her before -- Mikasa definitely knew she was attractive enough, but right now she was definitely sure the eyes on her were for more than that reason.
Losing her usual cool demeanor, the young, distraught teenager constantly bumped into fellow schoolmates, only to utter a rushed apology before once again fighting her way against the flow of human traffic. Right now, she needed her questions answered, and if possible, a solution to her issue and there was only one person that could give her what she needed.
Waking in the morning, the soldier had gone on her usual routines. It was the same as every other day, albeit a little colder now that winter had started to set in, that was until the revelation hit her.
Her steps ceased abruptly as she approached her destination, sliding open the door with much more force than necessary without even bothering to knock.
"Sakura." Her voice was lower a few octaves; deep, gruff and unfamiliar to her own ears when the word fell past her lips. "Sakura," she tried again this time, sounding much more urgent and firm in her call. "Is Sakura here? I am in dire need of her aid."
