✘ — “But sunbaenim..” Jennie protests a bit, pouting her lips. “It said on the recipe I found online that we need to just keep it in the oven for 15 minutes, under 350 degree temperature.” Her brows furrow as she peeks past the semi-translucent glass door of the oven. Seeing that the cupcakes have slightly risen, she hums, maybe the elder was right?  “Hm.. What if we burn it though? We don’t have fresh ingredients around to make another batch. Aaaah I’m scared I might poison the people who will try it.” She jests, chuckling in a soft manner.

“Here you dropped this.” // welcome to evteka

  ✘ — "Oh than--” She stops mid sentence when she realizes who the person was who caught up with her, jaw slightly opening. Soon, a series of bows follow, as she takes the small pocket mirror that she dropped. “Hyuna sunbaenim, kamsamnida!” She couldn’t stop herself from bowing- after all, she was one of the sunbaes whom she looks up to. “I’m- I’m Jennie, by the way~ And can I just say, I’m such a huge fan of you and your music.” Of course, on normal terms, she didn’t feel the need to introduce herself as Blackpink has been getting a lot of attention as of lately, but to seniors in her industry, it’s only right that she gives a self introfuction as a form of respect.

“I’m being framed!” // welcome to evteka!

  ✘ — She was the type to be very timid with her expressions, oftentimes mistaken for being very standoffish. But this time was quite different, as she hears her seniors’ words. “Whaaat?! Let me see..” She gasps rather dramatically, “Who’s doing this though? I mean, do they have proof? They could be bluffing sunbae.. So don’t get too worried about it. Sasaengs would go to certain extents just to rouse something from you so don’t give into it. Plus.. It could be a prank text too right? Maybe one of your hyungs is playing a prank on you.” Her eyebrows furrow at the center of her forehead as she looks over the mobile phone he was holding out to her where it was open to an unknown number’s message to him.

"This was a mistake!” / Hellooo and welcome to Evteka, dear!

  ✘ — “Aniyoooo! No backing out now, sunbae!” She laughs and secures the hood around the frame of her face all the more. It was a chilly night, probably because fall was nearing, the streets were close to empty and all they had with them was their wallets and their phones. “Being back here for about six years, you’d think I would have memorized the streets of Seoul but it’s still not the case.” Jennie laughs while they trudged on the paved road, the dimly lit setting felt odd in a way, but the two were on a mission. “Come on, we need to find that restaurant. I need that cheesy ramen dish inside my tummy...”

“Because I’m so gay…” || welcome to evteka!

  ✘ — “But let’s be real here.. Aren’t we all a little gay for some girls?” She giggles, talking as casually as possible as they continue on with their conversation. “You and the rest of your group are all so pretty~! And I personally don’t see the point in being ashamed of admiring another girl since we’re all wonderful beings. Am I right or am I right?!” She laughs rather enthusiastically, placing her palm over her mouth. Her nose scrunches, “How are things with you though~?”

“At last some common sense.” | welcome to evteka!

  ✘ — “Really? No one’s ever agreed on you with that before?” Her eyes widen. Maybe it was because of the fact that she spent her formation years elsewhere, in a more liberal place as compared to Korea. But even so, she didn’t see the point in being too strict on teenagers, especially since they’re going to end up finding ways around certain things. “I mean is it really that frowned upon to do some underaged drinking? I know it’s morally wrong, but we have to be realistic nowadays. And I know of a lot of chingus of mine who were drinking before they turned 19..” She pouts, pressing her lips together. Even if she wanted to engage in those things though (but she did not), she couldn’t- given the fact that she’s been under YG’s watchful eye for six years.

“And I finally got my wish.” / Welcome to Evteka !

   ✘ —“Jinjja ro?” She asks with a beaming smile, playing with the rings on her fingers whilst doing so. Jennie then looks up at her sunbae, “How did you wish for it though? Was it a shooting star? I’ve seen one of those before. Maybe umm, a coin in a fountain? Come ooooon Taeyeon sunbae, will you share your secret? I need to know because I too, have some things to wish for~ Keke~”
