In the name of the moon ! starter for... @89kyeon
She couldn’t quite pinpoint when the last time she had actually gotten to spend some time with Taeyeon was, and that wasn’t counting all the time they spent talking to each other over the phone or on Kakao. Some good, genuine, quality bonding time with one of her favorite unnies. Which is exactly what she was doing, and she was more than thrilled about it.
That was why as soon as the day had came that they planned for, she rushed out of the house with barely enough time to breathe after getting ready, and made her way, well, drove, towards the Korean Barbecue place that they had agreed on after countless ideas had been tossed around by the both of them. She was still pretty adamant on going to the trampoline place that she couldn’t remember the name of, but with her broken arm Taeyeon had quickly shut that idea down fast. Though, Lizzy was positive it was just because her unnie didn’t feel like jumping around everywhere and falling every five seconds like she, herself always did as well. She just found more fun in it then the average person.
With barely any time to lose, she had parked her car and practically ran a full on marathon into the building to get them perfect seats, and also because she was completely starved and she needed to get their food cooking before she died. An exaggeration, but Lizzy did believe she’d die if she didn’t get any meat in her body in the next couple of minutes tops.
As she sat there at the table by herself, she couldn’t help but to begin picking on the side dishes that had been already brought out along with the meats, and, of course, she couldn’t stop herself from talking despite there not being anyone there yet to talk to. With a heavy sigh, she picked up a corn kernel with her pair of chopsticks and spun it around a few times to admire it. Did this piece of corn have a job? A family? A mortgage? Probably, she was certain everyone did.
“Sometimes a corn’s gotta earn a living.”
