i have mentioned it before that krigare will take any excuse to throw a part and obviously amelia's birthday is no exception. and of course the entire palace is completely decked out in flowers. (there's an entire team of floriculturists specifically dedicated to the flowers used for amelia's birthday.)

the level that it ends up being wasn't something that happened overnight either, but built up over time. she's so incredibly well loved that people are more than happy to go out of their way. even if the amount of effort that everyone goes to, the sheer number of flowers and gifts and attention she's showered in, is not something amelia has ever specifically asked for. but of course she loves it.

unicorn sightings are uncommon, but not totally rare. (so goes the saying that seeing one is said to bring good luck and good fortune. it really is just a saying tho) though most sightings are from a distance. close sightings are much rarer to the point there's probably half a dozen people alive that have gotten close to be able to touch one. amelia obviously is one of those people. they also tend to live in herds, but full herd sightings are all but non existent.

princess amelia langer - the second daughter of the first queen regnant of krigare. (an important sidebar: juni and avery decided amelia's name together however for her first name, juni had a picked a couple of options that were specifically still tied to the royal lineage but also not anyone prominent enough that people will compare the two. as she didn't want amelia to feel pressured that she had to live up to a certain reputation.) queen gwendolyn ingmar - queen consort to the first king of krigare willow thatcher - the heroine in an old mythic fable.

amelia is absolutely a water girlie, doesn't matter the kind, rivers, lakes, the ocean. if there's water amelia wants to be around it. her father taught her to swim when she was pretty young, and there was no going back after that. she was also impossible to get out of the water when she was younger, she didn't want to leave. she mostly grew out of that but sometimes she can still be really stubborn about it.

in modern settings she is not the sort of girl who will just sit out by the pool / whatever body of water there is to be in the sun and not get in the water. frankly she doesn't get that or find it enjoyable. like the point of being close to the water is to eventually get in it. (she will also burn if she just sits in the sun.)

what aura do you give off?

marble angel: porcelain starlight, marbled museum floors, and coffee-stained sweaters. i would usually try to summarize your positive traits and leave it at that, but you are truly indescribable. just infinite, unknowable, and easy at the same time, subtle and untellable. chaotic and serene. a walking contradiction. i really don't know how it's possible for someone that burns so brightly to be so cool and collected. everyone knows they can come to you to talk, or for advice, and the way you hold yourself is regal, yet inviting. you have the capacity to experience so many emotions and you can love so very very deeply. .

Does your muse have any pets? / What does your muse do to pass the time?

Does your muse have any pets?

yes. im counting them as pets even though i don’t have the info for them as fleshed out as much as i’d like. but in her little garden (i say little but it’s a good size tbh) amelia has a flock of ducks. there are a couple of different kinds of ducks here but most runner and call ducks. she also has at least two rabbits. again i have not really sat down and figured out the legistics to her garden and the animals that live there. but im counting them as pets seeing as amelia does take care of them.

and then there are her actual pets. elmwood, her shire horse i talk about most frequently as he is like her main horse and her favorite. but she had at least two others, and when im happy with all the details with them i’m sure i’ll give them their own post. this of course doesn’t count the little pony amelia rode before being gifted elmwood.

then are her two giant irish wolfhounds, laurel and indigo (i’m sure i’ve mentioned somewhere in that in her canon they are not actually called irish wolfhounds and this goes for all her pets, as tho breed probably don’t exist however for the sake of tumblr it’s easier to assign breeds that already exist) and finally her two cats, lavender and pomegranate. im sure there have been other pets and will be future pets but this what we have for the moment.

What does your muse do to pass the time?

there’s a whole bunch of different things. mostly she’s out riding, by herself or her father or brother if she can convince them to go with her. or she’s reading or painting or drawing to playing one of the several musical instruments she plays, or her needlework. or practicing her dancing with her ladies,e ven helping one of her ladies with whatever they needed. she could be looking into some new interest or brushing up on an out of practice skill. in the spring and summer she’s mostly out in the garden doing any of those things. but she’s also perfectly content laying under a tree on a blanket and daydreaming/ taking a cat nap. 

if the weather is poor or it’s too late to do any of that, she’s happy to settle somewhere comfortable and just hang out with her friends and do more of the girlie things. amelia really values the time where she can do whatever she wants, so there’s not really a moment where she’s really bored, she’s happy to not do anything and just have a cat nap in the sun if and when she ever gets the chance.

🎁 = Does your muse become flattered to receive gifts?

depends on the gift and depends on the person giving the gift, but generally im going to say no, not really with a big astrict next to it. the obvious exception are gifts from those closest to her such as her parents, her brother, cousins, her ladies, she is always flattered to be given anything, no matter how big or small the gift. (also any gift from @dekariosa).

it also depends on the gift itself. most nobles or other royalty sending gifts tend to give things they think she will like or might impress, rather than doing their homework. but sometimes there's a rare moment where some does actually gift her something of meaning and value to her, and in those cases, yes she is also flattered.

the people tend to gift her flowers (but sometimes fabrics for dresses or baked goods, etc. etc) should they see her or their be some sort of official royal outing or gathering. and these are also an exception
