"well i had a particularly bad day. i couldn't find the marmite i particularly love and then not long after i left the store," she paused. "someone almost ran me over because they weren't looking," she made an ugh sound as she angrily clutched the pencil in her hand. maybe the marmite thing was silly to others, but it was a key ingredient of her favorite sandwich. all in all, nothing had really gone her way today. she was ready for the day to end.

today had been one of those days for alice. you know, the kind where she couldn’t help but steer her focus solely onto one task at a time. it drove her crazy to not be able to get it right, at least the current task at hand that is. she’d been given a recipe from tiana for the beignets since she wanted to make them for robyn and herself. hours had passed before alice suddenly placed the finished product on the kitchen countertop before her. “finally, they’re done and they look just like hearts, even better.” of course the blonde didn’t notice the flour in her hair since she was happy the beignets had turned out well.
