badger was so happy, but so, so nervous on he and atticus' wedding day- he kept asking atticus if he was sure, all the way through the reception and into the night. atticus had never been more sure of anything.

" You know Cade just took me to Italy because I wanted a nice gelato. " And spritz and pizza. " He even bought me shoes. " She showed Atticus the new pair she was wearing. She doubted that he would have noticed. " Aren't they nice ? " As if the shoes were any different from the hundred pairs she already had in her dressing room. " You'll have to step up your game if you want to stay my favourite." She teased her brother before sticking her tongue out at him. " I accept diamonds, properties, holidays, books written about how amazing I am ..." All things she already had. Apart from the book but surely if Atticus ever wrote his memoirs he could say nice things about her.
