“i guess you better stop it, then; don’t you think?”
“I don’t think I know how!”
Even after he had taken Diana for a surprise roller skating session on her birthday the year before, Jimin had never gotten much better at roller skating. Despite what he had heard about tails helping animals balance, that seemed to only apply to monkeys. Or at least, it didn’t apply to Jimin. He had learned - very well - how to skate faster and faster. Unfortunately, he had never learned how to slow down or stop except by simply letting gravity and air resistance work their magic.
This was now the third time Jimin sailed by the waiter who was working just outside the roller rink. What had started as simply an excuse to try his skill at the claw machine fishing out stuffed animals (he hadn’t gotten even one and spent around $20 trying) had turned into flying around the rink with no idea how to stop except maybe by crashing or falling. Both of those options sounded painful. Jimin kept his tail tucked close to his body just in case anything were to happen.
“Help-!”
