if one roommate wasn't enough, bee also offered her home to penny after she was discharged from the hospital. the house is a little small for three people, and she's still navigating how to share the spaces that she was in the process of converting for jesse. but, she couldn't imagine letting penny go anywhere else, not when it was clear how important it was to jesse.

bee is an early riser, which conflicts with having someone asleep on her couch. she was trying to make tea early one morning when she accidentally dropped a mug. the noise woke penny up, and she felt so guilty that her eyes water. if penny noticed, she didn't say anything and the two of them had cups of peppermint tea and chattered about nonsense.

she often makes pastries to bring into the gallery to set out for guests. usually just her and elio end up with them. the first week that penny stayed, she noticed that many were disappearing off the cooling rack before she could bring them to work. she has since adjusted to making two batches, one for her kitchen counter and one for work. if penny noticed, bee has never brought it up.
