° ♡ ̖́-  — “you really think so?” there’s the smallest hint of doubt in seolhyun’s voice as she twirls around in the dress, trying to get a look at it from every angle possible. gowns such as this are a must for basically all award ceremonies, and seolhyun thinks it’s best to get the shopping out of the way as soon as possible. and who could be a better partner than yoona? she’s technically a goddess on every single red carpet. with her, there’s no way seolhyun could pick the wrong dress. “are you suuure, unnie? it’s not too... i don’t know, disney princess-ish? not that that’s a bad thing... but you know. i don’t want to look too childish!” she huffs at her reflection because as beautiful as the dress is, something is off. “oh, well... on to the next one! oh... you should try the one i picked out now! you’re gonna look stunning, i know it!”

Chanmi had to admit, she’d been stashing away chocolate away in her drawer, sneaking it when no one was looking; when the dorm was empty. Usually AOA would stick to their own belongings but if a member was out of socks, then of course it was totally natural to go raiding the drawers to steal someone else’s, and it seemed that Seolhyun had found her secret chocolate stash. “Oh, you won’t tell manager-nim right?!” She begs with a small pout. “I’ll share it with you~”

° ♡ ̖́-  — the only reason why seolhyun found out about chanmi’s secret drawer of treats in the first place is because she was trying to steal reumi from chanmi’s room. he became a regular guest on her instagram stories, and it’s needless to say chanmi is never pleased when she finds out her cat randomly disappeared. but thanks to him, chanmi’s treasure box was unveiled and now they’re here, chanmi basically begging for seolhyun not to be sneaky and snitch to their manager. not that she’s the type that’d do that, but the maknae is so cute when she's all pouty that seolhyun can’t help but tease her some more. might as well call it revenge for chanmi saying seolhyun’s smile is fake. “oh... hm, i’ll think about it... but you’re gonna have to do something better than just share it with me to convince me!”

“really? this is your big plan?” she can’t help but burst into a fit of giggles, the laughter puffing out of her mouth in the form of white fog. it’s freezing, but this might just be worth it. “hm... it would make for an interesting picture. but how different could it be, really? you say this like your body isn’t amazing as well!” she tsks at the other’s comment playfully before taking the folder containing the pictures. “this would’ve been funnier if these pictures were of us making stupid faces... imagine the store owner waking up in the morning and seeing that his cutouts were vandalized.” and just like that, seolhyun is snorting with laughter again as she inches closer to her very own cutout, a picture of suzy’s face clutched carefully in between her frozen fingers. “how do i do this...?” she asks, herself more than suzy, before deciding to stand behind the cutout and hold the picture right in front of where her cardboard face would be. “well? how does it look? fabulous?”

“you... find it normal?” there’s the tiniest hint of judgement present in her expression as she tries to imagine what it’d taste like. the first things that come to mind are adjectives synonymous to disgusting. the question was asked due to lack of a better topic and she definitely didn’t expect the younger girl to give her a serious answer. but alas! "hm... maybe you’re not wrong. wanna try it?” be careful what you wish for, right? seolhyun was never one to be afraid to experiment with weird food choices. “i mean... you said it yourself. it can’t be that bad, can it?”

♔ ⁞ —  “Oh wow, that’s no way to speak to your elders.” What a manner to answer a polite phone call. His neverending wit didn’t fail him, a plethora of witty comebacks settling on the tip of his tongue. However, at the last second, Namjoon decided to take it easy on her. It was a little late to be calling someone that didn’t happen to be your significant other. “I just had a dream, actually, I guess it could be considered a nightmare instead.” He paused for a moment to scratch at his chin, unsure if it was too childish of him to have called Seolhyun for anything short of an emergency. “I was in the middle of a heated rap battle with Jimin-ssi when I started stuttering and ultimately puked… Everywhere. It felt too real, I demand a rematch.”

if you call someone at 2 A.M. sharp, don’t expect them to be polite about it. especially when the reason that you’re bothering them is because you had a dream as stupid as this! maybe if namjoon had a nightmare and he woke up all sweaty and freaked out, seolhyun would have some sympathy. a smidgen of it. but this? this calls for no sympathy and no niceness. but this is her friend and she loves him (just a tiny bit), so she listens to him drawl on anyway, trying to prevent her eyes from rolling out of their sockets. when she hears his reasoning for the ridiculously late phone call, she’s not sure if she’d rather laugh or cry. maybe both at the same time. “seriously...? you dreamt about... my leader.” she stays quiet for a few seconds, closing her eyes and pressing her fingers to her temples. “you’re real funny, i’ll give you that. you really called me to tell me this?” there’s a snort from her end of the line. “are you sure it was jimin and not... i don’t know, a dream about that tragic stage from the gayo?”

ah, seolhyun, my dearest friend, you’re so tsundere. you love me, just admit it. but seriously, thank you so much. you know your praise means a lot to me, since you’re incredibly honest and talented too. you’ve made my day! now where’s your comeback? i’ve been anticipating it.

me? tsundere? why does everyone keep saying this? i’m not tsundere! i expressed my love for you and this is what i get... see, just for that, i’m not gonna tell you the date of our comeback...! i’m kidding, i’m kidding - but i’m not allowed to tell you just yet so... stay tuned for our japanese comeback, hm? and for now, focus on making me proud and getting some more wins, why don’t you?
