The water of the beach has always been nice and cool. She didn't visit it often, not even five years ago, but when she did, she'd always go exclusively to dip her feet in the water. It often helped if she had a lot on the mind... Or just needed a nice break. Either way, she does exactly that, sitting on a nearby pier and dipping her feet into the water. Her mind's been a hellscape lately and she needs to clear it. At least just a little bit.
Something… wasn't right. Not with the water (not entirely), but there was something in the water that was making their spine prickle. The leopard seal currently weaving through the pilings under the dock came to a stop and looked up at the structure. There was nothing new except the pair of feet dangling in the water, as people often did. That was where they were getting the “off” feeling from.
They swam upward until their spotted head broke the surface of the water, and they studied the woman with a pair of blue cetacean eyes that looked utterly alien on a seal. In a blink, their form shifted from a sleek seal to something more humanoid with long silvery hair and blue and white skin.
“What do you think you're doing?” They growled. “Your presence taints this place.”
