[ stolen ] a quick, stealthy, and impromptu kiss snatched in secret (okay but like… trey + Taiyou maybe)

it was a quiet afternoon within the cafe; the traffic slower, less bustling ... not that taiyou was complaining. evident in the way he was upright in one of the corner booths, taking a brief nap ( or at least trying to ) to alleviate the exhaustion still plaguing him after spending the entire past night out on a hunt. it wasn't often taiyou took naps while on the job, but he figured there was no harm to it ... especially when it was hardly busy at the moment. and yoru wasn't here; so at least he won't have his head scolded off. eyes closed and arms crossed, his head leans back against the stiff cushions of the booth as a poor but convenient pillow for him, his breathing soon becoming slow.

he falls asleep in the next ten minutes, including through trey's arrival to the cafe. the soft chiming of the bells that hang above the door frame does nothing to wake taiyou, and hikari gently prompts to him that her brother was asleep, suggesting not to wake him at the moment as she goes to help prep his order. by this point, taiyou was deep in his sleep .... chest slowly moving up and down in tandem to his breathing all the while trey approached him. docile, and vulnerable for once .... yes, indeed, it was a perfect moment for anyone to sneak attack him at this moment, wasn't it ?

wrong. the moment trey steals a quick kiss from taiyou, lips just barely brushing against each other from how quick it was, blue eyes suddenly shoot open. his hand reaches out to grab trey by his wrist, pulling him forward until his body was forced to land on taiyou's. a low chuckle is soon earned, grip never loosening. " ... well, hello there, prince charming. "

omg i got ANOTHER compliment on my pride display, i just left it up bc i felt bad making the pages reshelve all those books lmao and also like, whatever, read gay books outside of pride right, well apparently an old lady came up and was like "you're not hiding them in the stacks they're out in the open!!! good for you good for you!!!" i'm sooo happy genuinely the only time i've gotten good feedback like that on a display was my first ihm one so it's been so nice!!!!
