To say Knoll was surprised when one of his alarm spells went off in the kitchen would be an understatement. Who would bother to sneak into the keep’s kitchen so late at night. Especially from it’s door to the garden. It would be easier to just go through Grado Keep’s front door.
Honestly, Knoll was glad that he was actually making his way to the kitchen for once. He muttered a spell just before entering, cutting off all other exits besides the door he was coming through. Readying another spell, he stepped through the door. “What in the world are you doing? There’s hardly anything to steal here.” It hardly mattered if he was talking about the kitchen or the Keep itself.
