“Oh I know everyone’s birthday. I may have spent far too much time reading people’s files that Komui may have left out…” Alma blushed a bit at the admittance. He probably wouldn’t mind being a scientist had he not been an exorcist. He loved reading and learning new things. Besides, he considered everyone at the branch a friend. Least Komui was a kind leader, unlike others he’s known….
“But don’t worry, i didn’t read much outside like names and birthdays and stuff. I just like being able to celebrate people’s birthdays and such.” Alma blushed a bit more. After a minute to calm down from his embarrassment.
He hugged Cal as he said “Anyways, happy birthday! I got you a gift too.” Alma hoped she’d like the gift. He made her a small cake since they were running out of cake making ingredients in the kitchen. He didn’t think it tasted too bad. He had to stop himself from eating all the frosting he used, it was so good.
“ I’ll have to let him know he’s left his reports lying about again. If you could get a hold of them so easily, what if someone more unsavory did? ” She laughed. A melodic tune that rang through the hall.
Just before being thrown into an embrace before she could really toss in a word in edgewise. Not that it truly mattered, Calera was happy enough to let herself settle into the kid’s grip. Returning the favor as she wrapped her arms around her companion. Thick loops of hair pressed against his suit as she fell into the hug for a few spare moments of peace.
She broke away after a time, brushing loose strands of brown back with her hand. An eyebrow raised as she scanned around for any signs of the gift. Hopefully it didn’t get crushed just by a simple hug...
“ Oh? That’s so sweet of you, Alma! ”

He is the reason I’m the person I am. He was determined and hard working. Unwavering faith in the Light he passed to me. A great sense of what it means to be a Paladin.” She pauses, hesitating over the next words. “But he wasn’t the most tolerant person. He never did approve of Tarel, with him thinking she was Sin’dorei. He thought there was no ounce of good in the Horde, which of course isn’t true. All that said though, I miss him like mad.”🌷 - “Ma is an amazing woman. She’s so strong and has endured so much. She was always a sense of comfort and stability for me when I was young. She never treated me or my brother any different because I was younger or a girl. I was allowed to run barefoot and play in the mud same as he was. In return she taught him he was allowed to cry and hug no matter what. I couldn’t ask for a better mother.”
....what if I mixed up Regal’s look and brought her to the pop-up rp... as Illuminated Bride.
