@pjyxng ; location: white house tennis courts
“Can I ask you something?” Ruby mumbled as she nervously tossed a tennis ball against the wire walls of the court. Normally, she would have wanted to make a comment about his being here-- probably along the lines of getting his own place. But the Yangs of course had a free pass to come and go, and she was actually grateful he was around this time, because something was on her mind. And maybe, she was starting to feel like he might be something of a friend.
i’ve mentioned so many times that green is very difficult to beat and i still mean it. like his battles are fucking insane. he can still breeze through the elite four and even beat lance easily, but he doesn’t want the champion title anymore. if you aren’t prepared he can sweep your entire team with just one pokemon. and since he doesn’t focus on one type, then, well... it’s very easy to come unprepared
do u listen to the screamer sound clips in ur spare time or are u normal
It should’ve logged in her brain as a possibility, seeing Teddy there, when the surprise birthday party was setting up for a mutual friend. Logic didn’t strike when you were drinking, though, and Lana had turned up four glasses deep, assigned to stringing bunting on the house’s front porch. Already, she’d almost toppled off the step ladder twice, hips gripped steady by some square chin in a Letterman jacket. At some point, her assistant must’ve disappeared, because Lana was left on her own, rain spitting outside of the porch’s overhang, pattering grass and leaves. Humming under her breath, Lana hooked a string over a bit of guttering. She didn’t hear the front door creak. Teddy must’ve come in through the back, wafted towards the porch to assist with bunting. Maybe it was deliberate -- rumours of their supposed ‘affair’ had most people muttering when Lana entered a room, so inevitably the thought of forcing them together was exciting to some, bound to initiate scandal -- but whatever it was, Lana wasn’t prepared for it. “God, ass literally out, flashed to the wolves! Why’s it so windy?” That was her response to her skirt flapping up, not any attempt to catch it. “It’s sick. It’s sick! A bug’s gonna fly up my hole, or something. It’s gonna be like Ratatouille, it’s gonna control me. It’s all part of it’s pla--,” cut short as she tossed a glance over her shoulder, blinking hard at Teddy emerging from the door. For a long moment, there was only the sound of rain. “Oh,” she let out like a deflating balloon, hair fluttering her cheeks in silence. A slight wobble had her turning away, fiddling with the bunting just for something to do. Everything felt a bit too hot, suddenly -- like it burned, now, knowing he was looking at her. “I, um... I’m good out here.” Forcibly casual. “You can send Chad back out, if you want.” @teddylawrence
