Nessa leaned forward to further prompt that she was all ears. “Did you spot new Pokemon? Did you bring back any? Are there really spaces bigger than the Wild Area? Your posts were only giving me so much and every selfie you sent me had more of your head than any scenery.” Nessa poked at his side with a shake of her head, teasing for sure. She gazed up at him again, the glimmer in her eyes rivaling that of the ocean's surface. She had missed getting to have their talks. Most of all, she had missed him.

to say that the ocean rivaled nessa's glittering eyes would be downplaying how utterly enchanted her gaze was upon speaking. there's a hum of laughter, warm and entertained. " well, if i had known you'd be so eager t' discuss my vacation i woulda pestered your manager to let me take you along. " he knew better than to invade her work; however, there was always an ample amount of fretting when it came to her work / life balance. " hm ... though, where t' start, where t' start. we'll just say that raihan has been happily doing his own research and exploration of paldea in his time away. good thing it was off - season, new scenery meant new pokemon and even newer ways to battle! he may or may not have gotten new friends along the way too - now to just finish writing all of his findings in his journals ...
Real ones remember when I spoke about Raihan's family crest which was that of lilies of the valley+ dragon + shield combo so now I give u the thought of a family lullaby that's been passed down from child to child

Also I finally figured out why Raihan would journal so much of his adventures / explorations.
Because since he dies young, around his mid 50s, he'd want to leave his journals for his nieces and nephews when he's gone. So they learn about him through his life, through his passion, and learn history alongside him, so they could know exactly who their uncle was
I'm saying this now. Raihan would absolutely go to paldea to research and explore the crater
Okay so after beating the game I can 100% say that Raihan would be fighting for his life in that crater because God Damn.

I do not like cancel culture. I do not participate in cancel culture. This goes beyond that, however. hi! if you aren’t aware of the situation, I believe aku now has two call outs circulating - 2020 &. this one. the reason why we are collectively weary of her is due to the fact that, well, she isn’t willing to change &. the sheer amount of block evading she does. i would say this isn’t drama nor is this a new situation due to her unwillingness to change. she is now back on some blogs + I believe active on donnamonja &. honestly , it’s a bit hard to keep track of where she is now. she keeps returning under different names and blogs but yet ignores the wrong she has done &. continues to again , engage in the same behaviors.

that's a lie and raihan knows it very well, no one saw him during the eternatus incident. they don't know how absolutely terrified he was when he watched his best friend fly off to fight this damn eldritch creature by himself - too stubborn to let raihan help him. you have a role to fulfill, raihan! you're hammerlocke's shield, so protect them! and part of raihan wanted to say fuck that, you dramatic bastard! but he knew better, as their duke and their current reigning gym leader - he had more than a little obligation to this place. ❛ haven't been afraid of somethin' in a long time, gordie. ❜ he says this and yet ... he sounds so tired. exceedingly so in the manner most people don't see him in.
