y’all know how mephisto’s official height is listed as 195cms but only when including his curl and he’s actually 184cms? the reason rin’s official height is listed as 173cms is only because it includes his hair—– rin is shown to be the same height as, if not shorter than shura (who’s listed as 169cms) in multiple occasions, as you can see from the #receipts below:
rin and shura are standing side to side (with a bonus Actual Giant yukio) and at the same level in every single one of these pics, and you can see in the pics where shura has her arm around rin that she leans down to be at the same level as him.
rin’s height is probably around 168 cms rather than 173; especially considering he’s usually drawn a lot shorter than renzou, who’s height is listed as 175cms (and has short hair, so it’s his actual height) as u can see below in pictures they’re right next to each other:
that ain’t a two cms difference at all—– but it is if you start counting the difference from the top of rin’s hair rather than his head.
[college essay voice] further proof can be seen if one compares rin’s height with shiemi, who’s height is listed as 165 (and has straight hair, so it’s her actual height), because their height difference is in no way 8cms like it would be if rin’s actual height was 173cms:
as you can see in both of these pics where shiemi and rin are next to each other (with another bonus Actual Giant yukio) and standing at the same level, rin and shiemi are more or less the same height—– had rin been 173cms, the height difference between him and shiemi would be the same as rin’s height difference with yukio, but it isn’t!!!
ANYWAYS this got long but basically: rin is a lot shorter than people think he is, most likely being around 168cms rather than 173cms when his hair is not included in his height.
