It’s only halfway through the day when Lyn realizes that he’s got a visitor. It’s more because of his Husky puppy, Lilly, barking than anything else— she must have greeted them on their way in. Since he doesn’t have anyone to tell him who it is, he elects to get off of his horse and let her graze, then sit down in a wooden rocker on his front porch. The front gate is designed so that the only people who can get through are those that are brought by him or his friends, or those that are “magical”, as he would call it.
He hasn’t released his wings yet, but the places they duck into— two black, jagged marks on his back, almost like two tattoos between his shoulderblades— are visible now that he doesn’t have a shirt on. He’ll wait for the person to say something before he decides on whether to let his wings loose or not.

Lynstrom, from his front porch, could sense something was different in his environment. More accurately, he could hear it. His acute hearing picked up on footsteps from outside his front gate before even his dog heard it.
He didn’t get many visitors, as hardly anyone would come to the farm by the woods— the woods had been known to get people lost in them, so he supposed that was why few people came to investigate.
Rather than wait for whoever it was to come closer, Lyn made his way to his front gate, getting there just as the footsteps reached said gate. Of course, being blind, he couldn’t tell who he was speaking to, but he turned on the Southern charm anyway, one hand resting on the gate and the other holding loosely onto his cane.
“Hey there— nice day out, ain’t it?” He pushed his shades up further onto his nose, smiling in the direction he was sure the person was standing in.

Snickering at Viktor’s reaction, Lyn pretended to be shocked by the accusation. “What? I didn’ do nothin’.”
Of course, because he wasn’t expecting the poke back, he yelped, jumping back a bit. His eyes widened, and his face turned pink.
“... Ya, uh, startled me.” That was only kind of true.

From where he sat in the loft of his barn, Lyn could hear the activity from the circus nearby— of course he couldn’t see it, but with his ability, he could “see” the outlines of the tents. He’d been thinking of going down there at some point, but for the moment he was content to just listen.
Speaking of listening, a sound from the woods behind his house, at a frequency only he could hear, made him turn his attention to said woods.
Someone had gotten through the glamour he’d placed there. He didn’t know who just yet, but as he made his way toward the woods, he hoped it wasn’t someone looking for trouble.

Lyn wasn’t expecting that sound to come from Viktor— and at first, he was concerned. But he realized why Viktor had squeaked after a few moments, and he smiled, snorting.
“I’m good... did I poke ya somewhere other than yer back? ‘Cause that’s where I was aimin’ for.”
